> 24 hourI have no choice but to keep replacing. Due to hard water in my area (CA), this valve will seize and stop turning in a few years. My faucet is too expensive to replace. It is cheap enough to replace the cartridge once in a few years.

> 24 hourGood replacement over original brass valves. We have very hard water and these seem to hold up.

> 24 hourSounds like people are actually receiving a different part depending on the vendor, so the reviews arent all for the same product. Mine was direct from Amazon and it was a real Kohler valve. It fit great and seems to work perfectly so far. It was also a great value. The only difference I could find between my original and this part was that the original was brass, while this was chrome or nickel coated. Very happy with the purchase.

> 24 hourThis part was recommended by Amazon when I purchased my faucet. This part belongs in a bathroom shower. I never used it and was not able to return it because Amazon wouldnt take it back.

> 24 hourThese are no fun to change if they are stuck together. They fit the faucet and work fine . I had to completely remove the faucet / mount in a soft jawed vice /penetrating oil/ propane torch. Get the picture . If yours dont come apart easily , you may save time and frustration by purchasing a new faucet.

> 24 hourThis was to replace the cold water valve for Kohler faucet K454-4S-CP. It was a perfect match AND included the black spline to be used at the top for attaching the stem extender (87466). My faucet was crusted over badly, and it took some PB Blaster penetrant and time to loosen the gunk. I was too feeble to remove it with a ratchet wrench and needed a stronger person. Thankfully, the old valve was removed. If youre not able to remove the valve cartridge, youll have to buy a different models valve and casing assembly (Ultraglide). Hopefully, youll be as lucky as me and can preserve the old parts. I could not remove the old stem extender for two handles, and another handle had an ill-fitting stem extender. So, i bought new stem extenders to go with the new valves. If you mistakenly bought the wrong sides valve, you can modify it by removing the clip and changing the orientation. Good luck with fixing your leaky faucet.

> 24 hourThe valve on our bath became stuck on about a year and a half ago. I panicked and broke the handle and was able to get the water off. I didnt have the knowledge to fix it myself at the time or the funds to hire someone, so the tub sat since then. I finally watched some YouTube videos for tub repair and took on the task of fixing the tub myself. Once all the parts came in, it only took about a total of an hour labor tops, and just over $100 to make the repairs myself.
