Perfect fit and easy install with appropriate socket wrench.

Pefectly fits as replacement valve for Kohler shower.....however one must make sure to choose the right part number for cold and warm.....

The valve on our bath became stuck on about a year and a half ago. I panicked and broke the handle and was able to get the water off. I didnt have the knowledge to fix it myself at the time or the funds to hire someone, so the tub sat since then. I finally watched some YouTube videos for tub repair and took on the task of fixing the tub myself. Once all the parts came in, it only took about a total of an hour labor tops, and just over $100 to make the repairs myself.

Perfect replacement for a valve that was getting stiff to operate due to hard water. OEM product in Kohler packaging..... at 1/3 the cost of the big box store. Took all of 5 minutes to replace. Its like a have a new faucet!

Genuine kohler part, went in very easily (a lot easier than taking out the old one!). No complaints with the part itself - seems to be the same quality as the piece that I removed. However, I have the Bancroft monoblock 2 handle kohler faucet (model #K-10579-4-CP) and this part is actually for the hot water side. Pay attention to the clockwise vs counter-clockwise turn for your particular faucet to make sure you dont make the same mistake I did!
