> 3 dayAs expected, perfect for and easy install. Hardest part was removing the old valve. I used an impact driver with a deep socket head for removal.

> 3 dayFit fine but the old one was made with Brass and copper. This appears to be chromed steel or maybe stainless. I replaced the hard to turn unit with this, then soaked the old unit in vinegar overnight before disassembling, soaking parts in vinegar again to get the calcium out of the insides. Lubed with pool lube and re-assembled. Ill keep it on-hand to replace the next one that gets too difficult to turn. To rebuild, remove the clip and bow-tie stopper from the top, pull the washer off the bottom, and push the top down through the base. But unless you have extra time to do this, its cheap enough to just buy a new one next time. Use Teflon tape when replacing to make it much easier to take out next time. As others have noted, it really doesnt matter which side you buy. The only difference between hot and cold is a little bow-tie stopper on the top held in place with a clip. If you want to switch it, pull the clip and rotate the stopper 90 degrees. Pictures are of the old one rebuilt to show the clip and stopper.

> 3 dayThe rotation of turning the water off (CW or CCW) is the key to selecting this cartridge or the GP77005, rather than hot or cold. Note that hot or cold is not on Kohler packaging, its the rotation to off that is specified on the package. The cartridges are reversible by removing the clip too. You will need a 5/8 deep socket to remove the cartridge, at least on my model faucet. These are OEM and work perfectly.

> 3 dayI originally ordered GP1092203 and that is for the same faucet, but a newer revision. If you have the older version then you will need this all brass and copper valve (the good old quality Kohler) otherwise the newer part number is largely plastic and wont even be close to fitting. Unfortunately the only way I know how to tell the difference is disassemble the faucet before ordering the replacement part.
