I am a head coach of a baseball team and I have problems with my shoulder on my throwing arm. I swear by this tape, I am not sure what it does but I have zero pain when throwing a ball! Would highly recommend using this product.

Sure, there are differences in different brands of KT tape, but I think were to the point where the range of differences is shrinking all of the time. For me, I care about the adhesive, the support level, and the price - though not necessarily in that order. Actually, I also care about pre-cut strips... Im not the guy that needs to tape up an entire shoulder, so the pre-cut strips save me a ton of time and hassle. Aside from that, the support level from this KT tape is about the same as the other brands Ive used. As youd expect, you can fine tune the level with the preload tension on the tape when you apply it. The material is breathable, and the adhesive works even when saturated with sweat. I generally dont wear the tape for more than a couple hours, and have noticed that the edges roll up a little in that time. Its not enough to affect the performance of the product, but it might get worse the longer you wear it, so thats something to keep in mind. Id say that the adhesive performance is slightly below average for the KT tape products Ive used. Finally, this product is inexpensive enough that I dont have to worry about the fact that this is basically a maintenance cost associated with my workouts going forward. If you work out within the time envelope that I do, I can recommend this product. However, I dont know how it will perform if you have to wear it for 3+ hours, so YMMV.

This tape is good, but its elastic is only half as strong as the KT Pro tape, which costs about twice as much. I prefer the stronger tape. No surprise, I guess, you get what you pay for. In both cases, quality is high. If you dont mind the gentler elastic, this tape is great.

My daughter had the unfortunate luck of dislocating her patella AND tearing her MCL (medial collateral ligament) in a varsity soccer game last year. Her orthopedist, as well as her physical therapist, have been using 1/4 kino tape on her knee for months. Its tiny little pin-stripe looking tape. Well, Ive never once caught on on how to apply that tiny, narrow, skinny little tape. So, due to my failure to figure it out, shes been forced to wear a cumbersome, sweaty, uncomfortable knee brace thus far this soccer season. Then, I saw an online video for KT Tape. I saw the whole knee application and figured Why not? The most Id be out was around $12 on a package of Kino tape that may or may not work/be a disaster. I picked a color that matched her schools colors, as those were their rules for allowing kino tape. It came a few days after ordering. The precut strips come in a neat little easy to seperate roll. They also come with a little booklet with basic instructions, but I am not skilled with the KT tape, so we watched YouTube videos on full knee application. Well, today was the day of truth. We applied the full knee application, rubbed vigorously, and off she went. Two hours, a bunch of mud, and some slide tackles later, I have a review. It works. It was extremely easy to apply in the correct way. Just three strips and we were off. She said her knee felt stabilized all game. Our only complaint would be that it was starting to roll a bit on the ends, but we think that is due to the amount of slide tackles she both dealt and received. She said that peeling it off for a shower was like ripping off a wax strip, so I assume it wouldnt come off in ordianary applications. It didnt rub under her shorts, nor under her socks. So, Id defnitely rate this one a 4 out of 5. Mostly because I wish the fabric had some sort of way to indicate how far a strech was. Guessing is ok, but for someone like me who has no idea what they are doing, shapes on the adhesive might help us to realize when weve acheived 80%, 50%, etc stretch. We will defintely be buying more, as she absoultely loves the idea of not having to wear a full knee brace now.
