Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 11 Laptop, 11.6-Inch HD IPS Display, MediaTek MT8173C, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage, Chrome OS, Blizzard White

Overall this is a great laptop, but they don’t send you the right color. I ordered white and received dark grey. I decided to keep it cuz reshipping was a hassle.

Customer service was impossible to reach, I couldnt register the computer due to some sort of glitch about the invoice date. I love the Chromebook but hate the lack of customer service.

I bought this laptop to use for a work from home job. I was very excited to get it because it was affordable for me and it had pretty good reviews. First day out of the box the supposed brand new laptop had a blinking screen that was also just going black and not working. I love outside the US and because of that I recieved no recourse. So Im out 240 US and a laptop. Amazon had no issue accepting my money from outside the US but has an issue with replacing a laptop that clearly has a manufacturing issue.

I have owned several Chromebooks over the years and Ive had this one for few months now. Its loaded with features and the Chrome OS comes with everything imaginable to make it easy to use and more accessible. But as others have stated in their reviews, this Chromebook freezes and crashes constantly. Its like they made an amazing system that the device cannot support. Even when doing basic functions (watching youtube or going on facebook), my screen will freeze and I have to reboot the device. Ive even had to wipe it completely a few times. Honestly, its very disappointing. The reality of reading all the things that it supposedly can do and then not really being able to use them. If I were you, Id shop around and get something else.

Dont know if I would have been a happy with this paying full price. But since I got it on Black Friday, it was a great upgrade for when I need it outside of my work laptop. Its small, but heavier than my previous Chromebook (probably because of the touch screen). I noticed it runs warmer and battery life not as great as my old (2020) HP 11 Chromebook that has the same processor.

Chromebook feels heavy.

I bought this for my son for high school. The touchscreen hasn’t worked since we got it. We did a factory reset. Then touchscreen still didn’t work. His school’s expert factory reset it again today. Now the touchscreen doesn’t work and the volume can’t be adjusted. I bought his twin brother an Acer chrome book. He hasn’t had any problems with his.

It’s not working properly.

Bought two of these laptops for my children for Christmas 2021 so they have been using them almost daily for about a year. Today, my sons laptop started having scratchy sound quality while he was watching a video. Shortly after we noticed a strong smell and found smoke coming out of the, what seemed to be, the speakers on the bottom. We closed the laptop immediately and the smoke stopped. I contacted Lenovo customer support for guidance, however, they were unable to help me as there was no serial number located on the sticker on the bottom and it being a year later, no longer had the box it came in. There is a way to find the serial number if you download a Lenovo app on your laptop but were afraid to reopen it now. Not sure what to do now. My son is beyond disappointed.

This is a nice little machine and well built. However, if downloading apps from Google Play is important to you, please note that this Chromebook is NOT supported - you get a nice little Try Again message when you try to connect. Hopefully, they will include this in future updates, but as of today, its not. Id give this a full 5 stars except for this issue.
