Lixit Critter Space Pod, Perfect for Small Animals (Small)

I had bought this for my five girls, theyre all very chubby rats! I have heard a lot about the space pods or sputniks and had been wanting one for a while but have found that it was difficult to find any especially ranging in sizes and colors. Its very limit in terms of decoration but the space pod is still very cute. My girls really adore it and as much as 4 of them crowd up inside at once. I tend to switch around where I keep it. I have a critter nation so some weeks I have it hanging from the ceiling and some weeks I have it placed on the ground. Its a fairly versatile item and a must have for rat owners. It can take a bit of weight considering 4 of my five girls are super chubby and are more male sized.

Got this for my two pet rats. They love to snuggle in it together, although it is a tight fit considering they are both 8 months old. The only downside is that the clips to hang it up with isnt as sturdy as i hoped. One of the clips somewhat broke apart so its a bit looser fitting. Other than that, its still going strong and they love it.

My rats enjoy it, but I wish it was a little bigger so two chunky boys could fit in there at the same time. Plastic is also nice, quick and easy to clean once theyve been in it. It is not impermeable to chewing though.

Perfect for rats! This is the size to get if youre purchasing this item for your rat(s). I noticed that there is a smaller size too, but good thing I got this size. 2 of my full sized female rats fit inside nice and snug. Cleaning and assembly is very easy.

Super easy to assemble and sturdy! It can fit about 3 adult rats at a time, and they love to squeeze into it together. Can be used hanging (like pictured) or standing up. Also very easy to clean. I suggest putting a little piece of fleece in there to make it soft, they love that.

My rats LOVE this pod!!! Both of my full grown girls can fit in it together!!

I just got this a few days ago for my hedgehog. I really like it because the triangle legs fit well for corner placement. Its a bit of a tight fit for her, but she seems to prefer it that way. Really easy to clean, which is a plus. I havent tried hanging it from the top of the cage, but from the ground it is great. Not sure about IRS durability since I just got it, but its the best housing Ive gotten for her so I wont mind replacing if need be.

I have two male rats and they very much enjoy hanging out in this pod. It is very easy to take apart to clean and can be moved around to hang on the roof or wall of the cage, or on the floor of the cage, so I can give them some variety by changing the location every time I clean the cage.

I have three rat babies (full grown) and they love it. They alternate between that and their shredded up hammock. But mostly stay in there. And so far with the winter they just bring pieces of hammock into the pod and cozy up in it. Haha probably the most utilized thing in the cage

My rats ADORE it. Usually I find 2-3 in the pod during the day but sometimes they fit 4-5 in there :D After 4 weeks they have nibbled on the sides just a tiny bit but not nearly enough to hurt them or effect the pod. Just a few bite marks. They like to pull cloth bedding into it. I would choose/recommend it over any of the current small animal hammocks/hides on the market if youre looking for a place for your rats to snooze. Edit: I ordered a second pod about 2months after my first purchase and had to downgrade my review to 4 stars as the company only sent me half of the pod. Rats still love it though and amazon is sending me a new one.
