02-06-2025I bought a few of these for Christmas lights. It was super easy to add to Samsung Smartthings app and integrate into my routines. No issue whatsoever. I like the compact size and seems to have just as good of quality as the GE outdoor outlet.

> 3 dayZooz products alwase come jam packed with settings and features. I have very much enjoyed their products. This dimmer is not 100% waterproof. I would recommend keeping it off the ground in case of a flash flood. Thats what destroyed mine.

> 3 dayThis thing is an incredible disappointment. It will not stay connected to the Z-Wave Network. I even have Z-Wave devices within 20 feet of this Z-Wave Smart Plug that are capable to being repeaters and it still does not help. Every few days I have to go outside and manually press the switch on the device a few times on and off to get it to start working with the Z-Wave hub once again. Then it works for a fews days before it fails to work with the network once again. So much for home automation if you have to go outside and turn it on and off manually. I would look elsewhere for an outdoor switch. This one is too unreliable.

> 3 dayPITA to get SmartThings to recognize. Had to do custom install. Unreliable in SmartThings app unless you open the device control page. So, once added, & w workarounds, seems to do what I tell it. Have NOT tried using timer functions in SmartThings app. Turn it on/off via app on demand, not automated.

Greater than one weekI have bought 2 of these MP22Z Z-Wave Outdoor Smart Plugs. I set up one of them and after it was added to Smartthings following the instructions the actual device page showed two question marks and a message which says “Couldnt get device status” see screen shots. I emailed the company and they were responsive. They were not very helpful, and after 6 emails over 2 hours I have given up and I am returning the two MP22Z Z-Wave Outdoor Smart Plugs. I do not recommend these for Smartthings use.

> 3 dayI have a VeraPlus controller and this plug paired very easily. I have it controlling a pump on my dock. The button allows me to turn the power on and off manually. I also set up a scene that will automatically turn the power off after an hour.
