> 3 dayWhen received, put one in right away, and it leaked, so as long as I had ordered 2, I put the other one in, and it also leaked. Previous Moen Cartriges had Moen stamped on the cartiege, and these 2 did not. After talking to seller, He told me to send back, and I would get credit. so I did. He gave me credit for only one, saying I sent the old on to him. They were only in for 2 minuets if that, so dont know why he said that. The one that I had taken out was from ACE Hdwre. He refused credit on his faulty product Sorry

> 3 dayBought the moen 1200 brass cartridge mid August for a stall shower. Although I have good home repair skills, took a while to get up the nerve to start . (have read about cartridges coming out but leaving outer body in place.) Using the cartridge puller, job went well; quick and easy. HOWEVER, the shower in full hot position provides a very strong flow. As you you rotate knob to cold, the flow starts to reduce at about the 12 o,clock position. At a comfortable water temp position the flow is barely enough to wet yourself. At full cold position it,s a bare trickle. Removed shower head to ensure problem was not there. Same reduced flow problem. Would be glad to change this to 5 stars if someone tells me if I somehow incorrectly installed unit. Update -I should have written earlier. Turns out a small piece of plastic had broken off the old cartridge and remained in place. Found out when I forget to turn off water while removing the cartridge and the piece flew out under pressure. Would now rate myself 1 star and the cartridge 5 stars.

> 3 dayI bought two of these cartridges and replaced a shower valve and a sink valve,in 2011. No problems at all both cartridges work great. They are not true Moen parts though. Also used a Moen cartridge puller which worked as it was suppose to. Just make sure to use the little plastic cartridge do-hicky to loosen up the old cartridge before using the puller. And lube up the new cartridge with plumbers grease before installing it. Also take off the little snap ring and pull the inside out of the cartridge and lube the O-rings that are inside also. Hardest part in my opinion is getting the u-clip back into place with the new cartridge installed. Use lots of silicon grease when installing and things go back together really smoothly. Update 11-24-15, Had to replace this cartridge 4 years later. I was disappointed in how long it lasted. Maybe a true Moen part would be worth the extra money after all.

> 3 dayThis unit fixed my Moen. The secret is to go on YOU TUBE as a plumber show how to change it. Do not buy the tool it is a waste of money and does not do the job. The video is a enormous help!
