> 3 dayI bought two of these cartridges and replaced a shower valve and a sink valve,in 2011. No problems at all both cartridges work great. They are not true Moen parts though. Also used a Moen cartridge puller which worked as it was suppose to. Just make sure to use the little plastic cartridge do-hicky to loosen up the old cartridge before using the puller. And lube up the new cartridge with plumbers grease before installing it. Also take off the little snap ring and pull the inside out of the cartridge and lube the O-rings that are inside also. Hardest part in my opinion is getting the u-clip back into place with the new cartridge installed. Use lots of silicon grease when installing and things go back together really smoothly. Update 11-24-15, Had to replace this cartridge 4 years later. I was disappointed in how long it lasted. Maybe a true Moen part would be worth the extra money after all.

Greater than one weekGenuine part, restored the hot water to my 1970 Moen shower valve. I got a used returned item that did not have the retainer clip, I dont know whether the first person stole it or if it wasnt included but it ought to be included.

> 3 dayThe pull-out, on/off, hot-cold, knob for the shower in the travel trailer leaked pretty bad. Water conservation is important but especially in a rv/travel trailer when your water supply is limited. The old knob actually pulled off too. During repair, it was determined there was no problem with the knob, but the valve was bad and the retaining clip had broke as well. When using this for your repair make sure your retaining clip is in good condition. It is a separate part, so order it as well if you need it. It is the part that keeps this valve, handle, and everything locked in place, it is a gold U-shaped retaining clip with a little hole in the middle and little protusions on the ends which installs beneath the stop gap (if you search moen retaining clip in Amazon you will see it). I highly recommend this part to repair your fixture instead of simply replacing it, replacing it fixed the leak, and the original part was from 1972. I hope it lasts another 30-40 years. The part is not cheap, but I think it is easier to replace it than to replace the whole fixture, especially in hard to reach places with limited access.

> 3 dayLets face it,this is what it is. When you need it you need it. There is no agonizing selection to ponder. The criteria is cheap and fast (like me) and I was not disappointed with this purchase. In fact there was some bogus recall on this product due to bogus environmental concerns that were in fact not applicable, that made it impossible to obtain this item locally. So I was doubly pleased with this purchase.

> 3 dayThis is a perfect fit. I was afraid I was going to have to do some major plumbing being that the original was fairly old. This part fit exact, and the brass and stainless steel work far better than the old one. Very happy customer.
