This has helped occasionally with hiccups and general fussiness related to gas. I would NOT recommend using the syringe as a dropper, as this is very thick and my baby choked and had a very hard time clearing this out of her throat (took a long time). Very scary. Works better putting it in a bottle nipple and letting the baby control the flow. I highly recommend this method-be very careful if using the syringe that comes in the box!

I have used Mommys Bliss Gripe Water since our little one was born. She is now 8 months old, and I still use it on occasion. For the first few months of her life, her stomach upset easily. Gripe Water is great for relieving discomfort and even hiccups! I use homeopathic remedies, and often dissolve the tablets in gripe water before administering them. From the beginning she would take it without problem. Now when she sees the dropper she gets excited and reaches for it. I have found it helpful as I started solid foods. Some things still upset LOs belly, and gripe water seems to help relieve it and help her settle down to sleep. I always keep it on hand; one in the diaper bag and one at home. Bonus is that two bottles here are about the same as buying one in the store.

Well keep this review brief. Were usually against applying chemicals of semi-unknown origin or a concoction of items to ourselves, let alone a newborn. Yet, we had to admit, that it did assist our infant from two months through her fourth with gastric distress. It has a nice flavor, the ingredients are easily identifiable, and -while slightly pricier than generic versions or competitors items- safer. There were no after-effects, side-effects, or whatnot. Our child, usually within 15-20 minutes of the intake of the specific dosage (already enscribed on the box and elsewhere; its hard to miss, and virtually any applicator including a regular slow-flow nipple will let it flow through just fine) drifted off to sleep as she visibly showed comfort. A nice belch or three was let out, perhaps a huge diaper-full of goodies the next morning, but fairly safe and VERY conservatively used. We had purchased two bottles of the product, but found that we needed just half of one. Be aware that after a few weeks after opening, you should dump it out. Id think that if someone were to apply this every time the baby whimpers, it may not have the desired effect. However, play it safe, understand that its an over-the-counter item, set your standards at a reasonable level, and use with caution.

This product may not instantaneously convert a cry to a giggle, but it reduces babys stomach discomfort by converting acidity in the stomach to burps, so try to burp your baby after feeding this. Reduced stomach discomfort lets baby relax, which lets baby go to sleep. Could you ask for more? Were almost though our our first pack of 2 bottles and weve just ordered 2 more packs (4 bottles) so we dont run out. We dont feed baby this with a syringe but in a small bottle instead. We only use the syringe to measure the quantity to put into the empty bottle. Since this liquid flows faster through the nipple than breast milk or formula, your baby may try to drink too much too soon and panic. You dont need to panic though. Just remove the bottle from the babys mouth if baby appears troubled, let baby swallow and clear throat, then resume feeding the remaining liquid in the bottle. Easy does it.

Ok this stuff saved our lil son. I hope it keeps working. I.can only pray. This is a miracle in a bottle!! My son was crying non stop. We tried everything. The car seat etc. Nothing worked Until I Found these. Looking forward to a nights sleep after 2 months for my little family. My son took them with no issues. I didnt get any choking and they are the consistency of water...well slightly thicker. I waited til my little son opened his mouth in went the half teaspoon then he smacked his lips and opened up for more!! He expelled gas all day. I couldnt believe it!! Now he is sleeping soundly. He ate and then got changed and the second dose in. Now he is sleeping. We call this time of night the hell shift. Our poor baby just writhes in pain. Well not tonight. I just pray they keep working.
