Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels Set of 48 - Assorted Colors

I have pastels as cheap as Crayola and as expensive as Sennelier. Mungyo pastels are a perfect in-between, a bit firm but soft and smooth enough to spread easily with a Q-tip (which I prefer) or your finger. Theyre great for beginners because they make it easy to get favorable results with lesser skill. Not everyone can make Crayola pastels look amazing like BlackbeanCMS. So, these are a great way to start. Theyre super fun to use! I strongly recommend them. I first got them under the Hashi brand (in Japan), which are the same pastels in a different box for some reason, and I was so impressed that I ordered these from the States to be sent to me in Japan. So, that should tell you something about how much I like them.

These were easy for my granddaughter to use. The colors were bright and easily blended.

Im so happy I purchased this, Im no artist, just learning, but I bought before another popular and cheap,brand and was so dissapointed, couldnt blend them,at all. These are so different, so buttery, I purchased the 48, as soon as I can I will,get the bigger one. Beautiful pastels at an affordable,price.

I love Sennelier oil pastels but for my skill level with oil pastels its just too expensive. I tried Paul Rubben oil pastels and thought they sucked because they wouldnt layer without becoming a sticky mess. Went with Mungyo and they are nearly as good as Sennelier. Actually I dont thing Ill buy the expensive stuff anymore because I love these so much.

Awesome. I cant believe the level of quality for 20$. Im impressed by how strong and long-lasting they proved to be, while so opaque and buttery. As long as you keep the wrappers on them, they will not break. Mungyo stick covers 10x the surface area of a Sennelier.. and 2x that of a Neopastel.. Ive used lots of brands.. these are the best.

These pastels are great for people who are experienced and even for those who are inexperienced. They blend pretty well, they’re compatible with paint thinner for blending as well. They’re not the creamiest pastels out there but they’re definitely smooth

Completely YUMMY!! They are former than sennelier and have a creamy , buttery consistency with plenty of color pigment. Will definitely order again !! Also ordered the pearl aquarelle from Mungyo ; left a review for those ❤️❤️
