> 3 dayMy pre-teen son also liked pastels in art kits that he got when he was younger. Those pastels were definitely of lower quality, and he had a hard time imitating pastel techniques that he saw in videos -- just wouldnt work. So I ordered these and now he can successfully do the techniques. He treasures these!

> 3 dayThe quality, selection, and price of these Mungyo artist grade oil pastels cant be beat. This is my second set. I really like using them on the side to start my painting, esp outdoors. I also sharpen them with a hand sharpener and can get a good point. Many oil pastels wont blend easily without baby oil or solvent or sore fingers. These are a little creamier than Neopastels and Holbeins, but not as soft as Sennelier.

> 3 dayNever use oil pastels before. Tried them and find I really like using them…..a lot. Why I didn’t use them sooner.

> 3 dayi was really surprised at the creaminess, and smoothness of these. they were so easy to spread out, and i did not do a lot of blending but they did well with what little i did. i also used with a wax pencil and they worked great with the,. have not tried with my other oil pastels Lyraca? and Faber Castile? i think is what i have. i have so many brands i get them mixed up. there was some crumbling but not a lot. i do highly recommend getting these. i will in time order more.

> 3 dayHighly pigmented, smooth lay down and blends like a dream. As far as oil pastels go, these are second only to Sennelier, and they are a steal price wise. Before I use those alongside Senneliers and they are a strong a support player, providing a brighter palette to complement Senneliers more muted colors. but as I dont have my Senneliers with me these days I did a painting with just 48 colors of Mungyo, and they rise to the challenge beautifully. (The only weakness with those Mungyo oil pastels is that the white is a smidgen weak.)
