Mungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels Set of 48 - Assorted Colors

First time I tried oil pastels and I love it. Quality is great, these are professional artist grade pastels very affordable.

Really love these!! They are very smooth very pigmented and easy to blend. The only complain I have is that when my hands get too warm, the pastels become so soft that it can get really messy on your hands and fingers.

These were easy for my granddaughter to use. The colors were bright and easily blended.

Theyre soft, saturated, not sticky and not expensive at all! Amazing quality, I will buy them again

For the price, these are excellent oil pastels. It’s a very nice assortment of colors that will work for still life, landscape, and there’s even some good colors for portraits. They are not as soft as Sennelier OPs, but in terms of softness they are comparable to Holbein Oil pastels, which are my favorite OP of choice. I highly recommend for beginners, and for professionals. It’s good to have a less expensive brand to use for your first layers, and saving your more expensive Holbeins, and Senneliers for the final layers.

These are the best oil pastels of the more reasonably priced category. Smooth and velvety application. Lots of colors. Im an experienced artist but they would be good for a beginner. The rating system asked me if they were sheer. No, but who wants sheer in an oil pastel?

i was really surprised at the creaminess, and smoothness of these. they were so easy to spread out, and i did not do a lot of blending but they did well with what little i did. i also used with a wax pencil and they worked great with the,. have not tried with my other oil pastels Lyraca? and Faber Castile? i think is what i have. i have so many brands i get them mixed up. there was some crumbling but not a lot. i do highly recommend getting these. i will in time order more.

Bought these for my husband who does oil pastel art. He likes the smoothness and quality of these pastels and recommends these.
