> 3 dayI’m semi experience with oil pastels and have tried a lot of different brands and this along with the neopastels are my fav. Some colors cover better than others, but there’s lots of selection in colors and the price is fabulous. The senneliars are actually too soft for what I like to do. These have a smooth application, but last a while. I feel like I can go through a whole senneliar in one painting. The box of 72 is fabulous and you can buy colors individually. I’m posting some pics to showcase some of the colors

> 3 dayI have bought 4 brands of oil pastels in the past month and a half, and by far these Mungyo oil pastels are the best. Goes on smoothly with easy blendability, vibrant colors. I have not tried the most expensive brand yet but I dont see how they can be better,, but I will see. So far happy very happy.

09-06-2025These are so much nicer than the ones I remember using in school. The creaminess makes them blend really easily. They are just really pleasant to use. After using these colors I do wish that I had more lite colors. With Cheaper sets the struggle is to get enough pigment out of the Pastel, with these I have so much pigment I find that I am reaching for white way more than I would otherwise.

Greater than one weekI recently purchased some very fine and fancy oil pastels that are great but I paid $50 for a handful of colors. Then I found these, hoping Id just be able to use them for blending. As it turns out, these are soft and creamy and wonderful all on their own.

> 3 dayMungyo Gallery Soft Oil Pastels had a fabulous review on YouTube when a person tested six brands at once. I immediately ordered. She was right - they are creamy and cover over other colors. I would rank them right up there on top. Definitely a 5=star buy.

> 3 dayIts just soo creamy and buttery and thus such a breeze to color and blend. I made the mistake of purchasing the Oil Pastel from Pentel and man, that stuff is straight-up crayons and cannot be blended AT.ALL. For the price ($20) and for the quality of this Mungyo Artists Soft Oil Pastels, I cannot really ask for anything more.
