> 3 dayI spent a lot of time looking for a cheap pastel set to see if I liked them. These were outstanding! The quality for the price is great!

> 3 dayGot this for 1 of my kids who likes to paint and was impressed by its overall quality. Like what other reviewers said, these soft oil pastels are soft and creamy and easy to work with. In watercolor paper, these work well in painting accurate lines as well as blending colors together. In addition, they also layer over another color without smudging or diluting the colors much. However, the white color smudges and dilutes more easily than others. Care needs to be taken if you want an undiluted white paint. These oil pastels seem easier to use for blending than accuracy for a beginner painter. A good buy for the price, given its professional quality and 48 colors. They also dont have a strong chemical smell. Significantly recommended.

> 3 dayI bought it since I was into oil pastels, but didnt want to break bank. I heard reviews were pretty good about it, so I purchased a set. They mix very well together if you press hard with a pastel thats somewhere between the darker and lighter colors youre mixing together. Super smudge-y so be careful. Soft as advertised. The only qualms i had was two pastels had nicks on them or probably broke off during transport, but overall they were intact, well packaged. These are fun to play with, so I do recommend for just trying out the set if you will like oil pastels ^^

> 3 dayI just really like these oil pastels. When I decided I wanted to try OP, I did a little research. I didnt want to pay a fortune but I didnt want to get the lowest grade product either. I cant remember who initially recommended Mungyo, but Im so glad I ordered them. Im an amateur. I like drawing and use whatever suits my fancy at that moment. Ive used graphite, colored pencils, alcohol markers, and now oil pastels. These go on smooth, they blend well, I enjoy using them. I cant compare these to professional grade OP having never used the really expensive ones, but I do recommend these.

20-11-2024Im so happy that I was able to get these for about $20. Theyre soft, they blend well, and the colors are vibrant. Id recommend these to anyone who is interested in trying oil pastels as well as artists who are already familiar with the medium. In my opinion, its worth spending a little extra money to get a good product than to buy cheap beginner pastels that are really just glorified wax crayons. I cant recommend these enough. Im very happy with this purchase, and I plan to buy more from this brand when my current set starts running low.

Greater than one weekI’m a novice when it comes to oil pastels but these are a little too hard for my liking. I like to blend colors to make smooth gradients but these are hard to blend with fingers and cotton balls. I really have to scrub on paper to get a smooth blend. They do have a quality pigment and are very colorful.
