> 24 hourThis is our second purchase from Necoichi. The first purchase was for the raised food dish. I have had it for over a year and I love it. So do our cats! Its made it easier for my older kitties to eat with out having to hunch down. It super cute and well made. You can put it in the dishwasher or hand wash. I purchased the raised water dish in order to get me Maine Coon to stop hogging the other food dish. Now both my cats can have a raised bowl and it makes it easy for me to see how much hes eating since there are measurements on the dish. I love these products. They are well made and the design is super cute. Better than the products I found in the big box pet stores. And the price is on point too!

> 24 hourI thought these raised bowls would be taller, but they are like a regular bowl with short pedestals. I like the quality of these bowls, its durable and easy to clean, it holds about 1.5 cups of water or more. The large sized raised cat/dog bowls are my favorite from this company. I wrote a review for those bowls. If you look at the picture here advertised, the cat has to crouch down to drink or eat. The purpose of having raised bowls is so the cat or dog can sit or stand comfortably while eating or drinking. If you have average size cats or dogs, I recommend the Classy Cat and Dog dishes sold here on Amazon, the height and dish size is perfect for taller animals. Classy Cat and Dog makes a 2.5 cup water bowl, that is perfect size and height. I bought the Classy Cat/Dog dishes for my cats, and I bought these Large raised Cat/Dog bowls for my doggies.

> 24 hourEarlier I had purchased the raised Necoichi raised food bowl for one of my cats that was hit by a car when he was a kitten. He lost his right front leg and his jaw was broken and his jaw is still a bit crooked. He eats by turning his head so he gets a better bite and the raised bowl helps him a lot. He also is prone to urinary issues so when I saw the water bowl I got that as well. He did drink only from a fountain but now will use the raised bowl as well. Both are good products, easily cleaned and make eating and drinking for my little buddy a lot easier.

> 24 hourOur cat has always preferred a short glass to drink from on his table, presumably so he doesnt have to crouch down to drink. We were keeping it on a coaster, but alas he is a messy drinker! This Nekoichi plate and raised water dish perfectly fit the bill for our little guy though! The dish holds water just fine and has handy measurements baked right in for monitoring consumption. The plate is wide enough to capture all of his over-spill effectively and both are easy to wash and rinse clean as needed. Also nice is the indentation in the plate to ensure the water bowl is always evenly centered for usage. Its not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

> 24 hourMy 14 y.o. cat has arthritis, and it is difficult for her to bend. She is thrilled with this bowl.

> 24 hourI got two of these, for dry food and water. Its not big enough for water in my opinion. It holds a cup and a half to two cups- I was refilling it 2x a day. Granted I have an older cat with kidney issues who drinks a lot. I went back to the big ceramic bowl. But, she drank from it without putting her paw in the water bowl which is what I was hoping would happen (new habit, I dont think she can see the water level). But as she drank on the edge when the bowl was full some would drip up over and down. But I love the bowls, theyre really cute, and perfect for the dry food. I got the middle size bowl for wet food and Ill continue to use those two bowls.

> 24 hourNo more water hassle for our kitty! We had a true issue with our fellow knocking over his dish. Found out he couldn’t drink out of his bowl-any we tried!!! So we came upon Nechoichi and whisker sensitively dishes they sell and viola! Problem solved! This dish even has water level marks to see how much he has drank. He doesn’t knock over his water any longer. So nice to know we could help him with this issue. We have purchased two more dishes for wet and dry food as well.

> 24 hourI bought this to use as a kibble bowl for one of our older cats. Since that time, hes migrated to eating mostly wet food due to the loss of all of his teeth. (Poor guy!). What Ive found is that if I turn the bowl upside down, its easier to use for wet food as it keeps the food in a smaller and more contained area. If I put the wet food in the larger part of the bowl, the food just gets pushed around. The underside of the bowl holds a fair amount of wet food, and Im really happy with it. As an aside, we do have a few of the smaller bowls (ones that are marketed for food vs water), and those work great as well.

> 24 hourLove these bowls! I also purchased the matching food bowl, and my kitty who has digestive issues is doing much better now. I do have to watch how much I feed him but his issue has definitely gotten better with the raised bowls. They are high quality and look so pretty in my kitchen. Im very happy with this purchase!
