Theres a million ways to misconfigure VLANs and only a few ways to do it correctly. Thats no fault of this switch which, after a few misconfigurations on my part, ended up working perfectly to isolate my IoT network from my home and office networks.

I switched the Switch that the builder had installed in my home which was completely wrong as it was made for landline and it did the trick! I connected my ROGERS modem to the Switch and I now have internet running through the entire house.

I live out in the country so I need better signal strength but was limited to what I could hook up now with this eight port I had enough ports to hook everything up and some left over got my signal strength up so I am happy I purchased this unit it gave me the ports I needed

Incredibly easy to setup. Plugged into my router and it just worked. I love that this Netgear switch has a metal case. Much better for heat dissipation. The dark color also blends in nicely in my entertainment cabinet. I don’t currently use all 8 ports but it’s nice being future proofed. Honestly can’t fault this and Netgear is a great brand.

I had it for a couple years and then it randomly died one day. I needed more ports anyways, which let me organize my wiring closet much better.

The price was the best I could find anywhere, well, anywhere that showed up on the Internet searches from 3 different search engines.
