This is an excellent product that you dont have to worry about it. I installed one of these about more than a year ago and is working 24/7 without any failure or complaint

Updating: I did not find any L2 switches that had https option so probably not fair to hold it against Netgear. I ended up creating a separate VLAN for managing switches which does give some protection and acceptable for a home network.

Needed a managed switch to separate my IOT vs my regular network in different VLANs. The switchs local management is fairly easy to use. However, it started me into some sort of subscription service for remote management. I am unclear if after the trial period it will revert into a dumb switch -- hopefully not; or if it will make me pay for the premium.
