If you, like me, are beginning to hit up against the available ports of your wireless router, this ones for you. Theres basically nothing to set up; all of the ports are bidirectional so you can plug the router in anywhere and then attach devices. Im using it with Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables simultaneously with no problem.

Have several of these in my business and at home - works great! Have not had any issues with these Netgear switches, and I have owned many over the last several years - I just need to keep replacing them with bigger switches (more ports) as my networked electronics continues to grow.

This switch works just as well as any unmanaged switch out there, and for the price, its a no-brainer!

This switch made my network so much faster i upgraded my wifi with nodes and they made it faster but only 1 ethernet connection so i needed 2 of these to make my network faster i use vop and it made a nasty noise on the phone this fixed that

hangs on wall visible and out of way

You can easily crash the switch as soon as you try to push more than a few 100s of Mbps and I do have the latest firmware (V1.00.08EN). Avoid at all cost
