set up central access point for better WiFi coverage

If you, like me, are beginning to hit up against the available ports of your wireless router, this ones for you. Theres basically nothing to set up; all of the ports are bidirectional so you can plug the router in anywhere and then attach devices. Im using it with Cat 5e and Cat 6 cables simultaneously with no problem.

This switch works well for simple switching used in my home theater. However to think of this as a managed switch is a stretch. Those expecting tight port control or long term software support may be disappointed.

Simply plug and play gives me 1653 maps at 245 ft

Never seen a Netgear Network Switch not do what it is supposed to do... this one is no different. It is a great generic style switch that works the first time with no problems.

Have been using this item about 6 months, very stable, great buy. Do not have to reboot all the time like last one. Netgear just keeps proving their great products. Will buy again. After having for over a year ,still works great and very stable.

Upgraded from the Netgear 8 port to this 16 port. Same great quality.
