Greater than one weekThis works fine and is a great price...for ONE year. I marked my calendar for a week before it was to expire so I could see what the renewal rate would be, (they dont tell you when you sign up). However, a MONTH before it expired, they charged me $114.99 for the next year WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME BEFORE THEY DID IT!!! I was SHOCKED at that charge. They didnt let me know what it would cost per year when I signed up. I feel this is underhanded to charge almost 3 times what I expected. Im arguing the charge now because they just charged it way before they should have and did not give me any warning. BE CAREFUL! Make sure you stop the auto charge within a few days after you sign up. The second year is way too expensive.

> 3 dayBeen using Norton for many years and never had a virus or crash. However, in some years, I had to call Norton tech and have them install it. Particularly difficult on tablet and cell. Once installed, easy to use and very, very effective.

> 3 daya.) You will need Norton tech support to find the downloader (I did not investigate Amazon tech support therefore I cant comment on that) if you purchased a Product Key, as I did. I was unable to discover how to get the Amazon purchase to install/activate without paying again. After going to Norton and finding that the renewal there was the same as Amazon and that Norton tech support (I used Chat) would help, I purchased this product (10 devices), and got tech support to turn off Auto Renew the yearly subscription. Then tech support informed me that turning Auto Renew would provide me with the best discounted renewal, and that I could contact tech support when my sub got close to the expiration date to get the best price and IF I wanted to renew at that price. b.) The new version no longer prominently displays number of days left on your subscription, however the days left are provided on interior Norton screens. c.) By the way, renewing automatically updated all existing devices (7 of 10). Tech support said they would help as needed to add any new devices. Im running win7 and win10.

> 3 dayStop with the pop-ups already. If this was really premium you wouldnt hijack my computer with out of place (so you cant close it easily) web page pop-ups (that youre supposed to be blocking), telling me I need to buy more software.

> 3 dayAlways use this Norton Product without any problem. Im doing this review very late and am actually getting ready to get the next version. Buy through Amazon to avoid all of the hullabaloo of being put on Nortons list and paying 3x the price each year. It is a great product though.

Greater than one weekI have been using Norton for years as it offers a decent set of anti virus apps. However, the annual renewal process has always been very annoying in one way or the other. Their current scheme goes like this: - To purchase Norton 360 online you must have auto-renewal set to on. - More than one month before your license expired, they auto renew for a much higher price than if you would purchase the app suite new (~3 x more! - $115 instead of $35) - I did not get notified about the impending auto renewal a month ago, but only found out today, when I wanted to turn off auto renewal I think this is not a great business strategy, because it seems borderline like a scam. Instead of rewarding long time customers, Norton is deceiving and taking advantage of them. So if you buy a license only make sure that you pretty soon after turn off auto-renewal.

> 3 dayI really despise how Norton does their auto renew. It is much cheaper to buy this, than to auto renew. But, in order to do that, you have to completely remove the current version, and reinstall this version. Its a ridiculous policy that Norton has.

> 3 dayThis purchase was to enable my continued Norton 360 protection when my current subscription expires. I give it only 4 stars because I havent had any recent experience with their competition. Ive always been happy with the product, had good experiences with Tech Support when I needed it and generally have seen no reason to change. I dont like the automatic renewal feature but you can cancel it. (Tech Support will help you figure it out - it isnt totally intuitive!) Is it the best product? I dont know. Maybe there is something better -- the rankings on AV products seem to vary year by year -- but Norton 360 fits my needs and, again, I see no reason to change.

> 3 dayLast time I used Norton Utilities, Peter Norton was still around and Symantec had just bought out Peter. At the time I felt it was a unwanted drag on system resources, of course the resources on a 386 or 486 were pretty scarce compared to whet weve had in the last 10 years. This version seems not to be pesky in that way. Ive not noticed any particular hit in performance on my AMD 3700X or my decade-old Stony Bridge and Ivy Bridge i7s. There are annoyances with the constant promotion of their Chrome extensions (of which I am mostly dubious), their VPN, and a variety of other parts of the product. Ive avoided most of these mostly out of distrust. And I already have a VPN. It did an excellent job of doing a complete scan, including my NAS (which I was happy to see). I am going to hope that I can avoid paying the full monte for another year, having put purchase of another package in my calendar for 11 months after installation. I am happier with this than I was with BitDefender or Eset similar packages. But I still think I ought to get at least the freeware version of Malwarebytes. Belt and suspenders, you see.<G>

> 3 dayIf you have any previous years versions of (Windows) Norton Internet Security and Norton VPN, please DELETE them!!! Because the installation of this resurrected Norton 360 does NOT! If you dont, you probably will have to waste a lot of time trying to diagnose problems. I went on the Community Forums to find this out and that I needed to download and run Norton Remove and Replace too. Also, if you have Malwarebytes, be sure to disable it when installing N360. For 2019, Norton changes their main products, and these products are different for retail than on Nortons website. One finally installed, it works great. One note, that upon any start-up or reboot, it takes considerable longer for initial for N360 to initialize on Windows desktops and laptops. Also, dont have the built-in VPN on the Start Programs. Just use it when need it. Ive been using Norton for many years. If it werent for the setup issues, I would have given it 5 Stars.
