I grew up using Norton and it really helped protect me against viruses all over the internet. Once I started using a Mac, I gave up on firewall protection. But thank goodness for this product. I didnt even know they made this product for Macs, but they do now! I purchased the key card and its such a great deal. I can protect up to 10 devices so I made sure to stop by my parents house and updated their firewall as well. If you get lucky like I did, you can buy this product at such a great price and share with all the people you know who are too lazy to protect their computers... Dont be one of those people. The user interface was easy to use and a huge improvement from how I remembered it. Norton definitely makes it easy for everyone to perform a scan and remove harmful things!

Ive used this product for several years and highly recommend it. HOWEVER, Norton is becoming more and more aggressive with forcing auto renew down your throat and bombarding you with ads, and ads disguised as recommendations. They make it quite difficult to purchase this item on Amazon and then get it successfully added to your account without 30 minutes on the phone or chat with tech support. If you just add the 25-digit code to your account, youll get your one year of coverage BUT LOSE ANY DAYS/MONTHS/YEARS REMAINING ON YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION. And if you dont turn on auto renew, youll lose access to some of the promised features, and pay through the nose when the auto renew hits. Norton is not a customer friendly company, so beware!

As scam. HORRIBLE, I contacted the General Attorneys office and it is NOT LEGAL in Massachusetts and probably illegal in other states as well. A fully TIME LIMITED paid service that FORCES customers to provide future payment information. I spent hours with support to no avail, no matter what you do they say NO! They BS you saying they want to check your REGION matches your serial, OMG!!!! What a crack of feces. HOW TO CANCEL THE AUTO RENEW & DELETE YOUR BILLING INFO: - Enter your payment information (yes...to use something you ALREADY PAID) and activate your product. - Go to support and search for Cancel your automatically renewing subscription or similar (the link that says CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL under MY SUBSCRIPTIONS tab DOESNT WORK!!!). - Once you get the ChatBot support screen (they call it Kate) select all options that lead to cancelling subscription renewal. - The ChatBot will do everything it can to keep you on subscription auto renewal, REJECT IT ALL or you cant delete your credit card later!!!!. - After the ChatBot acknowledges the subscription auto renewal cancellation go to MY SUBSCRIPTIONS and check it is disabled (it now should say ACTIVATE SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL this means it is disabled). -Once it is cancelled you can go to the BILLING INFORMATION tab and delete (trash icon at the bottom) the credit card or PayPal account to remove info that they do not deserve. For a self proclaimed security company the pry in your personal life and forcefully gather your information a lot. I hate (I have not written this word in decades) Norton and Lifelock, truly do. I will push for a boycott and will test Kaspersky and Mcafee as replacements. I have really had it with Norton and Lifelock, they will be hacked and all our info will become vulnerable.

I have used the Norton antivirus for several years, and it seems to work good. BUT, it is very expensive.

Very unfriendly for installation. It is not a straight forward process and technical support is very poor.

I needed at least 6 licenses. Norton does not give long term users any discounts. They offered a 5 license version for at least 3x this price. I have 4 more licenses left and now I can add to other devices that I usually didnt protect because I was a few short. Installation -- easy -- just uninstall the older version, (keep settings), install the new version and up and running. Also, they have greatly improved adding to other machines. You go to your account and simply click on the machine, enter the licence, and when that machine comes on, it will automatically update. So, I could update all the machines without having to boot them at that time, and could just wait until they came on line. I also used a barcode scanner to enter the license so double easy. I sure dont like entering in 25 char keys. (Barcode scanners are really cheap now). Of course the other way is to type once into NOTEPAD, and copy/paste into the license field -- but I wanted to use my barcode scanner for fun. Be sure to remember to disable the auto renewal at least 2 months before the time. I was waiting and suddenly saw a charge about 1.2 month before the expiration! But that was ok, Norton reversed the charges without issue! No question asked and I told them it was a price issue and suggested they meet these competitive prices at least for long term customers! MY experience with Cust Service with Norton has always been great and they have always been helpful especially when I had one of those not-bad viruses hit and with some minor issues. (I allowed them to take over the machine and that got it done fastest, PLUS I learned a few tricks when they did their cleaning)

Norton is a good product and a good value when purchased from Amazon. However, you still have to put in a payment option, even though you have already paid Amazon. I know you can turn off auto renew, but still you should not have to put in a credit card, when you have already paid.

Have about 10 devices in the family, but only able to register LifeLock info for one person. So lets say you have grannys phone protected too, shell get the notices from LifeLock when they find something suspicious regarding the primary users personal information. Either that or its way too complicated. Continues to make Offers via On Screen pop-up banners for products already subscribed. Easy to install, yes... Easy to install properly, that can be debated. Requires sign up for auto-renewal subscription, which is NEVER preferable. But its pretty easy to opt out, however, upon opting out certaing features/services become unavailable. I dont plan to renew.

This has a lot of features and is easy to use. Consumer Reports rates it highly. However this product has gone downhill over the past few years primarily because of advertising. They say oh you have a hundred trackers following you. Or blah blah blah. Really try and put the fear in you so you will buy an ad-on. Really disappointing. I would get another software package if there was a better company out there but there isn’t.

It slows down your computer so that was a huge negative for me. Although I LOVE the Norton vault to store my passwords and love the VPN function and LOVE THAT my pc has auto cloud backup based on my set schedule, I just dont find enough value because of the slower performance, thats my tipping point. I cant/wont use software/program that is going to slow me down as much as Norton has in recent years. I think I will stick to the free AVG download for future.. The price for 5 users on Norton is NOT BAD AT ALL but I am not wiling to sacrifice performance for that.
