> 3 dayMy old norton expired and I purchased this 1 year subscription (same software package)and when I went to install with the key code it came up with an error and then I started working with someone online and then on the phone. He said that due to extensions I could not install and he was able to fix it but took about 2 hours. Norton 360 is up and running but after dealing with tech support my Google page is messed up and I had to change passwords for norton. Very difficult and time consuming to install.

> 3 dayIt sucks to have to sign up for the auto renewal but that can be turned off at any time I learned that it also includes the bottom utilities software after logging into the norton website. It also comes with 100GB of cloud storage and not 75 as advertised. I do t use it but if you do it is included. I got it from norton and not the amazon version Amazon advertises that their version Includes the 100GB. No need to go with the mason version since the norton version I clouded the same amount and also norton utilities. Life lock also had an alarm that some of my Info was found from a data breach of zynga games in 2019. I knew about this already but is good to know they really check the files. For 30 dollar not and for 10 devices. I do not plan on using the vpn, doesn’t have good reviews. Should I test it I will update the review here.

> 3 dayIf you auto renew this subscription it costs $$$$. Buy it here for a fraction of the cost! Been doing it this was for 10 years!

> 3 dayHave about 10 devices in the family, but only able to register LifeLock info for one person. So lets say you have grannys phone protected too, shell get the notices from LifeLock when they find something suspicious regarding the primary users personal information. Either that or its way too complicated. Continues to make Offers via On Screen pop-up banners for products already subscribed. Easy to install, yes... Easy to install properly, that can be debated. Requires sign up for auto-renewal subscription, which is NEVER preferable. But its pretty easy to opt out, however, upon opting out certaing features/services become unavailable. I dont plan to renew.

Greater than one weekI have used Norton for many years, and it works well for protecting my computers, except for one critical miss: Norton cant fix the Norton Auto-renew virus/malware. Norton is forcing subscriptions on users and then more than one month before the subscription expires they put a huge charge on your credit card. For example, Norton Premium for 10 devices costs about $35, but after one year they charged my card $115 for the 2nd year, without getting my approval. I was able to contact Norton to remove the charge; just be prepared that when you purchase Norton you are purchasing a headache. For me, I wont use Norton again, even though the software itself seems good. If Norton fixes their malware when I would consider coming back, but for now Ill go with a competitor.

> 3 dayIve used Norton for years and needed to upgrade my annual subscription so I bought this subscription. I wanted to extend my current subscription by just simply adding a product key and not having to download anything else to multiple devices. Well, this will be an issue since there is NOWHERE to enter a product key thats provided with this product. This product is sent to you, a piece of cardboard with your product key number. However, you can not enter it without logging into your My Norton account online and then being prompted to re-download another Norton product.... but THERE IS A SOLUTION! I had to first log into my My Norton account and contact customer service via their websites chat-box. Once I was connected to a live person, I had to be transferred to a Technical specialist. The first live person WILL be customer service so you need to be transferred to a tech person because customer service can not assist you with this install. Once you are connected to a tech specialist, they can enter your product key for you and automatically extend your current Norton subscription on ALL your devices without having to re-download ANY new software. They will ask you for your product key so they can discard it and replace it with an extension of your Norton subscription adding 366 days to it. This took less than 5 mins once I was connected to a tech specialist, its quick even though a tedious extra step. This is a cheaper option to extend your current Norton subscription but you HAVE to contact Nortons technical support team to have them manually make this adjustment to your account for you. Its worth the extra step to save half of the price of the auto-renewal plan. You can also turn off the auto-renewal as soon as you extend your subscription or advise the tech person to turn off your auto-renewal for you. Ive read other reviews saying you are a force to auto-renew which isnt true, you can turn it off (simple on/off button on your account). And reviews saying you cant use your product key which isnt true, you just have to contact Norton to manually do it for you. I hope this review helps :)

07-06-2025Symantec is just plain anti-customer and anti consumer. They force you to do auto renewal and gets you for over $100 when a key like this is sold for $40. And then they make it hard for you to use the key without any easy online renewal like you get with Playstation Plus, Xbox live, or any other sane subscription service like Amazon prime. But it is still better to buy the key, slog thru their customer support with a live person and save $60. And DO NOT forget to delete you credit card info from their website so their auto renewal will be busted.

> 3 dayI use it on my Windows PCs, and it does a decent job. Buy on Black Friday at Amazon: Price at twenty bucks here is ten bucks better than the best price the manufacturer can offer on renewal. And disable auto-renewal on the manufacturer portal 1 month before renewal for best deals from them. But doing so might stop some premium utilities from working.

> 3 dayHave been using and trusting Norton Anti-virus for over 20 years. Great technology, seems to work. That is the key reason I have renewed every year. Indeed, the top three reasons is that their anti-virus software seems to work. However, I hate their idiot user approach. Tells me I have a possible virus in one email out of thousands in my Thunderbird email folder, and do I want to quarantine the entire folder? Absolutely NOT. Can not toss away thousands of messages. They should provide info, such as the message sender, subject, date & time. hate the renewal policy. After installation, if you allow them to auto renew another year, the cost is several times higher than a new purchase with a new serial number. Just buy new, get a virtual credit card from your bank with a $ limit, and use that for the required auto-renew data. Mixed feelings, but overall recommended because their anti-virus software works. The bonus feature of cloud backup is nice. Recommended as part of a safe computing strategy.
