Nova Development US, Print Artist Platinum 25

I have worked with Nova Development Technical Support for three days to get this software to run on my computer. We could not get to work. I have a brand new Lenovo lap top running windows 10. I am requesting a refund.

Tried opening this software without loading to try to find a file included that is there to speed up your computer. Windows 11 alerted me to it and refused to load any further. Very annoyed

Not happy with this product. Had one a few years ago and it was much better..

Finding out you have to be connected to the internet to even begin a project with templates. I had it years ago where you downloaded them ALL from the disc. Its ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and a piece of crap if there isnt any preloaded!!!!

Font compatibility across operating systems and printer device drivers is a complex challenge. Expecting the average user to immediately dive into advance printer reconfiguration of print spoolers and RAW data conversion is unrealistic and something the other major software developers have mastered - unlike NOVA Development. Roll the dice and take your chances. I removed the software after 3 hours of troubleshooting and requested a refund from PayPal. Even if NOVA doesnt cooperate, Ill forfeit the $30 and free-up my time for software that works.

Not easy to use at all. Took me a little over 2 hours just to do address labels. Not easy to learn. Wasnt worth the money I spent

Most of what I use the software for is making quarter cards. To be able to do this with this software requires MUCH effort, and so many of the ready-made cards are the larger ones. I have used more user-friendly software, but I DO like the cards themselves.

I had higher hopes for this software. I wanted to make birthday invitations for my sons 1st birthday. I found an invitation on Pinterest I liked and I thought Oh Ill buy this software, I can come up with something similar. Nope. I spent several hours trying to create an invitation. All of the graphics I used were copied and pasted from online. The graphics provided with this software are mediocre, poor selection. The font selection is no better than what you get using MS Word. Using the disk, the home screen has a bonus font button all it does it bring up a bunch of file folders and you click on each folder there are families of fonts in the folder. You have to click on the font to open another window to see what the font looks like, then you can download it if you want. Im not spending 16 hours digging through font folders. I could not find a way to download all the fonts at once. This might be better suited for someone who wants to use a template to create a card or brochure. I found this software to be inadequate for creating a custom/from scratch birthday invitation.

This is a nightmare. I have a lot of Corel software on my computers, but the one that I really like is the old Art Explosion Publisher 3 which I cant use anymore because Windows security features show it now has not having a valid publishing signature. So, I have been searching and decided to get Print Artist. Big mistake. I purchased the DVD and it does not have a proper serial number. I read reviews on Amazon where other buyers had the same issue. Now, Im willing to give this software a chance. I dont expect it to have the features that Corel PaintShop and Painter have. However, I cant install without the proper SERIAL NUMBER. I have a registration code but that is it. Another concern, is that it wasnt sealed. I wish Nova Development had upgraded Art Explosion Publisher. Its a very nice little publishing software to use. As someone who has worked professionally with various publishing software, including Adobe InDesign, and who loves Corels products, Print Artist pales in comparison to Art Explosion Publisher. But then I am very upset that I did not receive serial number.
