Great product, decent price. For smaller tanks, just cut & save the left over for later in a sealed plastic bag. I have used these in reef tanks, seahorse tanks, & even fresh water tanks.

Excellent product

I was really not too pleased with this product. I didnt see any noticeable positive improvement in my tanks water quality. And it just seem to get marked up with sediment regardless of it being in my final sump chamber. I personally think your money allotted for your aquarium hobby could be much better spent elsewhere.

In all my 35 years of fishkeeping, this is the best mechanical filtration media that Ive ever used. And even though they recommend having 100% of your water flow to go through the poly, Its got my 20 gallon display with 10 gallon sump crystal clear with less flowing through it. This is truly all Ill ever use.

It was one pad and that was it. I had to cut it up to make it last longer.

I just started planting my tanks and realized the Activated Carbon in most filters was leaving a black film on and killing my plants. I tried so many other options, finally, I found these. They work great!

It works, but Poly-Flter pad brand is pretty pricey for what you get... There are much more cheaper alternatives out there with a lot more bang for the buck!

Sometimes we get a bit distracted from our tanks and they may go a bit neglected. If I miss a water change or two, Ill throw this into my filtration system and it polishes the water right up. Absolutely great product.
