> 24 hourSo got the product and the package was up to snuff in every way except when I opened it I got bombed with a cloud of cigarette smoke as if the seller exhaled 2 lungs and mouth full of it straight into the bag or like either the product box or amazon envelope was sitting on a shelf in the same room as a smoker who smokes 5 packs a day the last 5 years. On top of that once installed I found out the alternative for sticky hook was not working right I followed the instructions to the T witch tells u to drill a hole slightly smaller then the plastic dry wall anchors then push the anchor flush with the ceiling and for those who dont know what a drywall anchor is, it is a small plastic cone that u insert in the hole and screw a hook/screw into it witch cause the plastic cone to expand bigger in the hole witch cause it to grab more then the screw alone could, well the provided hook when screwed into the plastic anchor is not big enough to make the anchor expand their for as soon as any pressure is apply it comes straight out and I dont have the ability to strip my ceiling of the the popcorn texture as I am not the owner and it is easier to putty a few holes then scrape all the popcorn off and if I just scrape a little spot off then I have to retexture and then match paint so neither of those is an option for me right now

> 24 hourI run the Vale Index, and I have a good size play area, with a padded floor. The wire for the valve is heavy, and, well, I can be a bit crazy with my movement. I box on thrill of the fight, and I engage Onward Daily, and aggressively. This means, I move, and need to move. These devices make that easy. I mean easy. They have sticky hooks, that stay on tight, with not one coming off in more than a month now of daily use. But, when I go to move them, they come off easy enough, and still...Yes...Still, stick right back on in the new location. I have moved them three times. I know...I know...unbelievable. But its true. Now, I started with a square pattern to hold my wires. Yes, I get it now, not the right pattern. A straight line is perhaps best, so, I got wise, and set them up better. World of difference. I will get another set soon, and improve, though the improvement is not needed. One set was enough, and I am glad I got this product right away. Price, forgetaboutit! Its perfect. No reason to not get your wires organized and I do not see a reason to shop around for other options, this works great. Thank you for the care.

> 24 hourYou get several different options for mounting, including both adhesive and threaded hooks. The tension is perfect for my index, and has given me no issues so far!

> 24 hourRight out of the box I stretched out a pulley to test how silent it was. The claim of silence seems to mostly be based on the rubber that deadens the retraction click and this works well enough to be silent within vr even if not outside of it. That said, I immediately doubted the product after stretching it out further. The reason for deducting two stars is due to the tension ramping up as the cord is pulled out. The only adjustment is to change the slack but, without a corresponding adjustment to tension, this feature is nearly pointless. The recommended triangle setup really does work flawlessly for standing play but the pull becomes too noticeable after 1 or 2 steps in any direction. My space measures 3 meters by 3.5 meters according to the steam vr room setup so 1 or 2 steps is not sufficient. I spent a couple hours experimenting and here is what works best for my setup. First off, 6 pulleys is not enough so I ditched the triangle setup. Im very glad that more adhesive hooks were included than needed. I still have 3 points of contact with the ceiling but ended up chaining the pulleys together. 1st point nearest the pc has 1, 2nd point has 2, 3rd point has 3. I found that the easiest way to calibrate this was to place the headset into the corner. Each link of the chain could then be inspected and the rubber gripper on the cord adjusted until all pulleys were about the same length. A balance must be struck between ensuring that no pulley is stretched too far yet without the cord dangling low enough to entangle your neck or hands. Overall, this setup is decent but Im probably going to need to order a second kit. There just are not enough points of contact with the ceiling to keep the cord high enough. Ill likely have leftovers but I figure the rest can be spares. This would be a 5 star product if there was a way to adjust tension. This would be a 4 star product if they were more open about the requirements for a full room setup and sold a 10 pack going for about 1.5 the cost.

> 24 hourWorks great, takes sometime to find the right tension points. I wish it was easier to reset from standing to seated play without too much overhang. Trial and error depending on your playspace. I go from seated to laying on a couch so I either have to much slack when standing or too much tension pulling when laying down that I have to adjust manually between playstyles.

> 24 hourNo way this sticks to anyones popcorn ceiling, but overall everything else is perfect

> 24 hourI needed the sticky hooks because I didnt want holes in my apartment ceiling. The adhesion is great, but as soon as you stick it on, its not coming off. Good luck if you need to readjust them. I knocked off a star because itll rip off paint regardless of how slow and careful you are.

> 24 hourGreat! These work just as they were made for. The ceiling hooks they came with mounted to my ceiling solidly, and setting them up was easy as well. There are many combinations of setups you can try as well, and each one has its weakness or benefit. These roll in and out almost in complete silence. It does not however stop kinking unless you give the cable slack somehow. I managed to set up with these to allow it still. Overall I havent had to worry about tripping over my cable again and its been a pleasant experience using these. Would recommend. If you are looking for a good set

> 24 hour—EDITED— This product is good although very pricey for what it is. I am going to use this for an Oculus Rift S when it arrives as almost all vr headsets are sold out everywhere. I love the quality of the cable system however it pulls a little too much. Take this with a grain of salt as I haven’t tried it with the headset yet but I fear it may unplug the display, im not sure yet ill edit the post when I receive it. I am however certain that this would be a waste of money if you are planning to use it with the Oculus Quest link cable because of the cost. I’d rather just trip over the cables because that device is meant to be portable and locking yourself in a room is against the point of buying that headset. Long story short its a good product with high quality parts, very sticky adhesive, quiet when moving the only reasons why you may reconsider is if you own a Quest, Cost, tight pulling, or you prefer a trip Induced concussion. — After testing out with the headset I can confirm that the cable does not get pulled out while I use it!

> 24 hourI love the system, these are quiet as heck and there are more than enough pulleys in the setup that needed. I use this with a Vive and it handles the cable beautifully. I have not rated the adhesive pads because, I didnt use the provided hooks since Im a renter. I use the command hook system and yes its a textured roof and they have been mounted for over three months. I play No Mans Sky (in a swivel chair), beat saber, bone works, and Alyx to name a few games. All I can say is that you dont even hear the pulleys and the have enough resistance to keep the cable up but not pull on your noggin. For those worried about pulling paint or putting holes in the ceiling, look into the 3M 17065CLR-6ES style hooks.
