> 3 dayGot these for my HP Reverb G2. Having to deal with stepping over and around a cable that was constantly hitting my back was awful and broke immersion. These fix that problem spectacularly. The G2s cable has too much friction for it to really make it feel wireless, I still feel tension when I move or lean too far away from the main pulleys, but thats the fault of the G2, not this system. Other headset cables dont have the same sticky, rubbery quality, and I imagine with those you basically cant feel the wire anymore. Going to be looking into getting some smooth mesh to go around my cable to fix that for myself.

> 3 dayI love this system, but it can be a pain. When Im playing VR, I get tired after 2 hours and if I try to sit down or move a good distance away, the tension feels like somebody is trying to pull the headset off of my head, even if I squat.

> 3 dayI love this and this it is a must have for vr gaming. It is nice not to trip over your cables or get tangles in them or guests getting tangles in them. 10/10 will recommend.

07-06-2025Great! These work just as they were made for. The ceiling hooks they came with mounted to my ceiling solidly, and setting them up was easy as well. There are many combinations of setups you can try as well, and each one has its weakness or benefit. These roll in and out almost in complete silence. It does not however stop kinking unless you give the cable slack somehow. I managed to set up with these to allow it still. Overall I havent had to worry about tripping over my cable again and its been a pleasant experience using these. Would recommend. If you are looking for a good set

> 3 dayI would have given it 5 stars, but it came with one of the reels missing. In the end I was only going to use 5, so I didnt bother trying to get this fixed. It would have been nice to have one as backup, but whatever. For VR these are now essential to me now.

> 3 dayThis is a great product and does everything youll need for a cord hassle free vr play. I just wish I realized the adhesive pads will most certainly ruin your paint when taking them off but it also come with screw in hooks so just use them if you want an easier time removing them. I would still recommend this product.

Greater than one weekOverall, I enjoy the cable management system. It takes a significant amount of effort to find out many things. A lot of them is to do with slack: Where to have it, in what amounts. I think this has improve my experience with many games; not stepping on a cord, or having it wrap around your body is nice. However, it transfers the issues elsewhere. Certain games where you can flail your arms around wildly, youll often be turning around and actually smack the cables in the air (unless you have a super high ceiling, then this problem might be easier to avoid - I dont have a high ceiling). This can be solved, but it seems to be rather difficult to get it perfect. The striking the cables arent the only issues. Finding where to have slack and where to have the little locks located is a hassle. When done wrong, you can experience significant head-tugging. Again, with a lot of work this can be minimized but not completely removed. Finally, the last thing that is annoying is that all the turning around you do can twist the cable up, causing it to wrap around your neck, slap you in the head, tug tightly, or become some sort of a nuisance. I simply had to take off my headset and unwind the cables after some long time. The games I experience the most annoyance with: Until you Fall and Gorn were specific issues. Games I felt it helped enhance the immersion: Half-Life: Alyx, Vox Machines (by a lot), most slower moving games in general. Even the Steam VR Lab was more enjoyable without a cable on the ground. High action/movement games can be a little annoying with these. With that said, this is only apart of the time, most of the time, these help keep the cable out of the way and make the experience awesome. Theres just a significant amount of effort I put in to get it to feel as good as I can make it. Otherwise than those issues Ive had, I couldnt be more satisfied with the product. Its pretty dang good quality and I think the price was fair for what it offers.

> 3 dayI had been looking at various pulley systems for a while wondering whether they really get the job done or not. I decided to give it a try and I have to say this is great value for the money and it kinda exceeded my expectations. I thought the cables would still hang down quite a bit or that there would be quite a bit of tug on my headset, but these actually get the job done extremely well. Even when I am at the furthest corner of my play area I barely feel any tug at all. There is a little bit but it isnt bothersome even when I crouch. Its very quiet too! Overall this is great value for the money and it exceeded my expectations. The cables look a bit ugly hanging around but thats ok. One tip Id give people is to use a cheap carbiner for quick release of the headset when you are storing it. You can use a velcro strap to attach a little eyelet ting and attach it at the cable at about 2-3 feet from the headet itself, and then easily unhook the headset when you are finished playing and put it up on a shelf or wherever you store it.

> 3 dayPerfect. Package provided multiple options for mounting. Quality might be too good. I feel spoiled. Thank you. I highly recommend for any VR user or for suspending any cables. It can handle about 5-10 spins before it gets caught up, which is far better than without ceiling suspension.

> 3 dayI had previously bought the $20 VR Cable Management from KIWI, and Im replacing them for multiple reasons, which the pro version has improvements for: The wire - steel vs dyneema: The pro version has a dyneema wire, which is stronger than steel, more flexible, cannot rust, cannot weaken from bending, cannot weaken from twisting. These are all problems that I experienced with the thin steel wire, which broke after 150-200 hours of use, and Im confident the dyneema will handle constant movement and bending far better than steel. The cable holder - silicone strap vs rubber o-ring: The pro version has a plastic cable holder with a silicone strap to buckle the cable in. On the standard version, they give you a rubber o-ring, which you wrap around your cable, and attach to a tiny metal clip with sharp edges. The metal clip wears into the o-rings and causes them to break. On the pro version, the silicone strap is far thicker than the o-ring, and is held straight by the plastic buckle, so it cannot twist or wear down. The wall attachment is identical to the standard version, which is fine. It worked well for me in the past, and I dont mind that nothing changed. Though the standard version also used the metal clips and o-ring to attach to the wall. The pro version has a silicone loop built into the reels, which again, is much better because the o-rings can break. The overall construction is also much nicer. The reel is a custom plastic mold for the brand with a higher quality plastic, as opposed to the standard version, which looks and feels like a generic part, made with cheap materials. The higher quality materials do make the pro version quieter than the standard version, but I would not call it silent. There is still the sound of the the reel (think of how a retractable badge, or key holder sounds). I look forward to using the pro version of this product for a long time, and I would recommend anyone considering the standard version to upgrade. The standard version will work ok, but it will wear down after a while.
