> 3 dayThese things are amazing! Just the right amount of pull to keep the cables out of the way without impacting your experience. You can really just get into the game and forget youre tethered to your computer in anyway. The suggested set-up is great and all, but honestly the individual units work so well that you probably dont even need to use the multi-unit end-point. Unless you have a larger space, which would likely help there!

> 3 dayI think Ive said this about all the Kiwi products Ive purchased.. GAME CHANGER. Silent operation, At least 7 feet of pull with minimal resistance until you get to the last 2 feet. You know when youre about to run out of slack, but it doesnt interfere with the game. I can tell these people have played a lot of VR and know what is needed.

> 3 dayI would have given it 5 stars, but it came with one of the reels missing. In the end I was only going to use 5, so I didnt bother trying to get this fixed. It would have been nice to have one as backup, but whatever. For VR these are now essential to me now.

> 3 dayThis is just awesome. I was so annoyed with my cable and worried about how Id solve this problem considering I had a fan in the middle of my office. Of course the fan is right where I want to play.. I installed this system to the side of my fan and it allows me to stand under it where I prefer with absolutely no problems. I can walk around, turn 360, duck to the ground, etc. and the cable is never in my way.. This product is an absolute must for any VR player using a wired set. Just get it, you will not be disappointed.

> 3 dayThese kiwi cables helps me manage the long VR cable that I have for my HP Reverb G2, and honestly with out these cables I would probably be tangled very often while attempting to use my VR headset. My main gripe with the product is its sticking pads; when attempting to take these pads off your ceiling, proceed with caution, since the pads themselves will strip any pain they touch.

Greater than one weekI love this system, but it can be a pain. When Im playing VR, I get tired after 2 hours and if I try to sit down or move a good distance away, the tension feels like somebody is trying to pull the headset off of my head, even if I squat.

> 3 dayCant stand it. Cable twisted and pretzels above my head within minutes. Rough tug on the headset if I move anywhere. Sent a photo of my configuration to kiwi, and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Id rather trip over the wire on the floor than ever use this system again.

> 3 dayOverall Id say its a great product, definitely an improvement over having all your wires go to your feet. Takes some time to set it up for good comfort - having to compromise between having extra loose cable hang down and have it get in the way of your hands, or have the wires basically glued to the ceiling and have a bit less freedom of motion. Also, what I found to be better if you have your PC in front of you, is to guide the wires around so the cables leaving the HMD are going up and behind you a bit (so the centre of the triple hook setup is behind you); I experienced less HMD tug where it would almost rip the headset off my head (exaggeration, it would just move it off-centre and the view would thus get blurry and youd have to readjust). Thankfully they include lots of those sticky hooks, so I managed to use two as wire guides on the wall, three for the triple hook thing, and three extra to completely redo the triple hook thing since the first time it turned out too bunched up and too forward. The only real negative I have is how tight the pulleys are; I wish they were tight enough to be able to hold their shape and maybe 50g extra for wire tension, and thats it - my play space is quite small, maybe around 2mx1.5mx2m (WxDxH) and on the edges, or when I get down, the headset gets pulled back way too much where it just breaks the immersion. Especially if you dont have much slack in the cables and two pulleys have to start unwinding, so its double the force you have to combat. Not unusable, but if youre like me and dont like to tighten the HMD until you lose blood circulation, it does get a tad annoying having to pull your headset down to eye-level after crouching. Great for seated VR as well, and if you have a spinning chair - all the wires go up instead of getting tangled on the wheels!

> 3 dayIve been doing VR for about a year. One thing I always hated about stand up games like Onward, Half Life Alyx is that you get tangled up so easily just after a couple turns. This completely fixes that. This is a essential item. I cannot recommend this enough! Alright, so for those of us with textured ceilings. You can either use the mounts and J-Hooks or there is another solution not involving them. You can use the sticky pads that it comes with. However, you will need a heat gun or a hair dryer. This will help it conform into the texture on your ceiling. Ive had it setup for a full day and put a few hours into VR and they seem pretty well stuck on.
