> 3 dayThe printer arrived well packaged, but the touch screen was not working. I contacted Linda in customer support and she sent a replacement screen with extra build plates and extruders for the trouble. She guided me through the screen replacement (with videos) and now the printer is working great. I was disappointed when the printer did not work out of the box, but Linda in Customer Service resolved the issue. Great Printer and Excellent Support.

> 3 dayThis is my first 3D printer, but Ive got friends and co-workers with different 3D printers. It really is easy to get going and I dont have a fraction of the issues others have trying to get their printers dialed in. Factory settings for the different materials work well with minor adjustments for different brands. Its worked flawlessly for the 3 months Ive had it and I have it going almost nonstop. Customer support is also excellent. Got the high temperature head very quickly.

> 3 dayI like would start out by saying I have had the printer for 8 months now, and that this is the first 3D printer I have ever owned or operated. When the unit arrived, I was immediately impressed with the “meaty” construction. It felt more like a production machine than something for hobby use. Getting it out of the shipping box was the hardest part of the setup process for me. Qidi made the rest a piece of cake. I have a few friends that have 3D printers and I get this feeling they like my Qidi more than their 3d printers but will not admit it, at least not yet. Everyone makes positive remarks on the print quality, and if they actually see the unit, they always comment on the heavy duty construction. The written instructions that came with the printer were a little hard to follow which I think was a translation issue between languages. The instructional videos were silent and could use a touch of narration but were still useful in the learning process. Like any newbie I started out making some silly mistakes. One of which involved me not leveling the bed correctly which concluded with me etching a nice square on my bed mat. The other was a little worse and required a half set extruder which technically Qidi was not responsible for since it really was my mistake. But Linda from Qidi did not hesitate to send me a replacement and followed-up to make sure I had received it and I was printing again! They really do have excellent tech support.

Greater than one weekI had been tinkering with 3D printers for a while before I stumbled across Qidi. I tried using a Prusa MK3, MK3S, Mini, and a Creality Ender 3. None of them got the quality I needed for printing details for form fitting pieces whether using ABS, PLA, PLA Pro, or PC Carbon Fiber. Then I found the Qidi. The X-Plus offered a larger bed, printing via Ethernet (without the need for OctoPrint/OctoPi or wifi only) as well printing from USB stick. Lemme tell you first, the print quality is great once you get your print settings dialed in. Now, this CAN be a PITA as any maker will tell you...but the absolute best part of this purchase has been Sherri from Qidi Technical Support. They will take the model you are having issues with; test it in house; and give you the best settings they found. Once you have this (since all print environments are not created equal) you can tinker with the temperatures in 5C increments. The tinker portion isnt even necessary when printing ABS, Nylon, PC-CF, etc that you will want to have the hood on for since those print fully enclosed. Pure and simple, if you have had issues before...buy this and dont look back. The tech support ALONE is worth it, but the outstanding print quality speaks for itself. I went ahead and bought the X-Pro as well to have dual extruder support and plan on reviewing that next...but if its anything like the X-Plus I have no worries in my mind that it will be another worthwhile investment.

> 3 dayThis is my second Qidi printer. They have really improved from the old I-Mate S model. The display screen is at the top of the printer now, it has a power button in front, ethernet port in front, a second spindle inside for high-temp filaments like carbon fiber, faster print speed, etc. Leveling is a dream, and the print quality is exceptional. Their software is easy to use, intuitive and user friendly. Their support is handled via email. They are prompt to reply, guaranteeing to contact you within 12 hours. Easy to use out of the box, great prints, can handle a wider variety of filaments. I recommend this printer.

06-06-2025Im using the QIDI printer for medical-device prototyping. Ive printed over 50 objects in the two weeks since I purchased the printer. Im printing in both PLA and TPU filament. This printer is easy to use and the print quality has been excellent. And as reported by other reviewers, customer support is exceptional.

> 3 dayThis printer is very easy to figure out and creates amazing objects. However, the best part is the customer service. We had a problem where filament got stuck in the feeder and emailed the company. Within 12 hours they mailed us back w/ a link to 2 different videos explaining how to take apart the head and fix it and it worked. Very happy w/ the purchase.

> 3 dayThis is my 4th printer and purchased to have a properly enclosed machine for ASA. I leveled the bed when I received it and have not had to adjust it since. Had a few questions and not only does support answer them in detail but they will print the model to test and send you the settings. Amazing.

> 3 dayFantastic printer. I had an ender 3 that only brought my troubles, this one has been a treasure in comparison.
