Retro-Bit Official Sega Genesis USB Controller 8-Button Arcade Pad for Sega Genesis Mini, Switch, PC, Mac, Steam, RetroPie, Raspberry Pi - USB Port - Black

I have been on a Sega Mega Drive / Genesis kick lately, and I have been using an Xbox Series X controller for a while now. However, I felt it would be really cool to play the games with the intended controller. Enter this officially licensed by Sega controller. It feels good, the buttons feel right, and D-Pad isnt cheap, and its just what I wanted. It was a bit hard setting up in Retroarch, however, the other programs I used for it were plug and play, so I would say that is a problem with Retroarch and not the controller itself. If you are into playing Geneses / Mega Drive games... look no further and get this one. You wont regret it.

Works great for the Sega mini... packaging says it could be used on the PC via USB port but while I could get my win 10 machine to recognize the device, I could not use it with any games I have on my PC. Grab it for the Sega Mini though, it works like a dream on it.

Very solid controller.works well in launchbox on retroarch.you do have to custom map it but that was easy to find online.make sure to buy a usb extender if you want to sit on your couch and play

I originally purchased this controller to use with the Sega Genesis mini I purchased, as they came with a 3 button controller and not a 6 button one. Suffice to say, it work beautifully!!!.. Except... To be fair, I was a huge fan of the 3 button Controllers HOUSING or how the housing on the original was setup as I have slightly larger than average hands. The housing for the 3 button controller. Still; thats just my crazy opinion. I do recommend getting this controller.

I bought this to use with my 4k Firestick. Works fine with the Firestick but the cord is just not long enough. Have tried 2 different USB extensions to extend length but it will not work with either one. Unhook the extension plug it back in and it works fine. If someone could help I would appreciate it.

Dont bother playing Contra Hard Corps because its impossible to shoot up without moving left or right. If you try to duck you will just move and stand up, which will make you lose your prone position. It was foolish of me to buy the USB one for emulator practice after the console version of this controller had the same exact problem. It does look great and its still a good backup controller. The buttons all feel good and work well, and the d-pad is ok for some games that dont require super precision.

D-pad is a little “squishier” than I’d like. But otherwise an excellent controller. I use it to play fighting games on my Raspberry Pi.

Great controllers for the price, bought 2 of them for my Genesis mini, even use on my dreamcast emulator to play soul calibur, official sega products and came packaged nicely

Works perfectly with mini genesis especially with the Street Fighter game six button configuration

I bought this controller fof use with my Steam Mega Drive & Genesis Collection and works perfectly. The quality was good and the buttons are responsive. My first reason to bought a pair is for use with the next Sega Genesis Mini and play the fighting games that requires a six button controller. The international shipment was fast.
