las velocidades son más o menos lo que dice.... sin embargo, no puedo decir mucho de la durabilidad porque apenas lo estoy instalando

The first drive I received didnt work properly. After an easy exchange, the replacement works great and its very fast. Definitely recommend.

Sabrent is a brand I never heard of up until a few years ago, and it had become mentioned often amongst tech-tubers and hardware reviewers. I decided to give the company a try, and purchased their 2tb model for my new computer build (5600x, w/Asus B550i Strix Motherboard). Im not going to comment on installation, performance, etc.. because well, all NVME drivers install the same way as any other, and performance seems only incrementally faster then a normal SSD connected to a SATA, which I suspect is due to most games not taking advantage of these drives strengths. What I will comment on is the firmware support and customer support from Sabrent. For the most part, the drive is compatible with my setup, but I had overlooked one tiny, crucial thing: its not on Asuss (my motherboard manufacturer) Qualified Vender List. Whats that you say? Well, basically, it goes on that list once the piece of hardware has been tested to work with the motherboard. And unfortunately, Sabrents model wasnt on there. As a matter of fact, Sabrent wasnt on A LOT of the motherboards manufacturers QVL list. I suspect this is why this NVME is more affordable then, lets say, a comparable $350+ Samsung. You pay a little more for the Samsung because part of that cost includes Samsung going out of their way to talk to the Motherboard venders to ensure, or at least to develop, proper firmware drivers to support the motherboard. Sabrent doesnt seem to do that (based on my lookup for other motherboard makers - including my own). As a result, some things may or may not work as they should, and in my case, I encountered an issued where, when I put the computer to sleep and attempted to turn it on, after the 2nd attempt, it would completely reboot itself and then go into the system UEFI, which now displays no Sabrent NVME. In order to fix this, I would have to do a normal restart. It also means that I cant reliably put my computer in a sleep state and would need to turn on / shutdown the machine each time I want to use and, and when Im done. Is it annoying? YES. Is it enough to have forced me to return it? No, because I can live with it. If youre thinking of buying this, it would be up to you on whether you would want to gamble with that kind of reliability and potentially end up with an issue thats even worse. Oh, and one last thing - I contacted Sabrent about this issue, and I pointed out to them that theyre not on a venders QVL list. They basically just blew it off and said it was something else or the venders fault. Their response was also very poorly written and hard to understand, and didnt seem progress beyond offering a few basic troubleshooting steps (which I did before contacting them). Overall, Im ambivalent about this product and this company. While the issue above is not a deal-breaker for my current purchase, I would probably think twice over saving a few dollars and just buy a more expensive, more reputable brand.

So the feeling of speed in my mind, is how fast does Windows install and boot. Super Fast is what I can say. Lets talk a bout the packaging, WoW I was surprised by how nice this M.2 was packaged. I included some photos. The copper looking part of packaging is actually a metal container. All the manuals are inside as well. I have no hesitation of buying this product again. Any M.2 SSD I need from now, will be this one.

UPDATE 07-18-2022 Sabrent made it right after I contacted their higher level support. They shipped out a replacement free of charge. Brought the rating to four stars with one subtracted due to their current warrant setup requiring registration. You shouldnt have to play games to get full support. It should be by default tied to the S/N. UPDATE 06-15-2022: The drive died and Sabrent refuses to honor their warranty. They want you to register the product to get the full five years, within 90 days. Extremely disappointing considering that other competitors dont go this route. Save your time and money and stick with a company like Samsung or Western Digital that will honor their warranties without any tricks. Replaced an older Samsung 950 pro 512gb that failed. Extremely pleased with the speed. I have had zero issues for the last two months or so since I installed Windows 10 on it. The packaging was nice and minimal with an aluminum case. Its a little pricey but in the end you’re paying for the largest and fastest ssd out there at the time so its to be expected. At 2tb, I finally dont need to bother with a secondary drive for game storage.

I havent gotten to my build or to testing the drive, but on unboxing it I notice a few things that bug me: 1) There is no S/N printed on the package or the included case (case seems like wasted cost honestly) 2) The heat spreader for the control chip must have been placed manually because its crooked. Sorry for the potato quality photo but you can see the PCD numbering where its evident. Not going to impact performance one iota, but its a loss for aesthetics 3) Including a manual that first talks about the heat spreader it didnt come with - I get it, the drive needs more cooling than what it has, and is either going to get that from the branded heat sink or a motherboard counterpart, but it just seems odd to put it there while selling a SKU that doesnt include the cooler. I imagine the performance once tested will be synonymous with crystal benches already posted and will update review if anything changes.

I installed this as a second drive for doing video editing mostly. It was generally easy to install ( the utility from the website is not as user friendly if you are not familiar with drive cloning, transfer, and format types ). It is definitely faster than some of previous generation SSDs that I had been using.

Its lightning fast and works as good as the day I got it. Im planning to purchase another soon. It has stood the test of time and is reasonably priced compared to alternatives.

Purchased September 2020, This drive worked like a dream when I first got it. Read/write speeds through the roof, and starting up the computer was as fast as waking my old computer from sleep. However, at the beginning of this month (April 2023), it catastrophically failed. Blue screen of death, and BIOS doesn’t even show the drive anymore. It looks like I might’ve gotten a faulty one.. conveniently failing outside of the manufacturer’s warranty. Don’t know how I’m going to recover my stuff from it. It works great at first, but I don’t know that I’d recommend it.
