> 3 dayBeautiful drive comes beautifully packaged in metal case. Once I got it running it was great - but it took QUITE a while. I initially used an NVME USB C case to mount the drive in but my Asus ROG Strix 570e did not like that combination and the computer kept freezing up. The Acronis software didnt work either. No big deal so I mounted the drive in the second M.2 socket. That did not go well either - same problem. I gave up for a few days and pondered the situation. It then occurred to me to clone my original M.2 Gen.3 to an SATA drive using Mini Tool Partition Wizard. 10 Min. later - DONE. It booted fine off the HD. I then removed the original Gen. 3 Silicon Power drive and replaced it in the same slot with the 1TB Sabrent. Fired up Sabrents Acronis Software and 7 Min. later it was finished. Shut down the computer. Removed the SATA drive that I cloned from. Fired it up again and checked the Bios. It was fine. The boot folder was updated with the Sabrent drive as the main boot drive. Now 2 days later and Ive booted up the PC maybe 20 times with no errors. It took a bit of work but Im very happy now. Not blaming Sabrent. I know they offer a USB C case for cloning but I figured mine would work. It didnt. I did think about installing windows from scratch (and even tried it) but some of my software refused to activate. I think this Gen 4 thing is just a little bit too new still. I suspect that in a few months they will have it sorted out and make the transition a lot easier. Finally, I tested it with Crystal Disk Mark and it met its specs! 1800TBW is great for TLC and as good or better than MLC. Ive seen comparable QLC drives that only have a 200TBW rating (same 1TB size). So, If youre doing a fresh install it should be a piece of cake. If cloning, be prepared to spend some time on it. *****UPDATE***** Its now a year later since I bought this drive and it has been FLAWLESS! I test the speed once in a while and although it might be slightly slower than when totally fresh, its very close. What I like best is the endurance of this drive. 1800TBW is way more than most other TLC drives and even beats some MLC drives. Just an amazing product.

Greater than one weekThis thing is great! It hits the rated speed and works great at loading my games quick. In War Thunder I even gained fps from my typical 145 to almost 160 in ground battles and from 200 to 220 in air battles. My biggest complaint is now I have to have my chipset fan at 60 to 80% speed all the time because with me using my RX 5700XT and this at the same time overheats my chipset. But after playing around with my fan curves its running great. The picture of me downloading Rocket league shows that this goes faster than my internet and has to stop for a short time so the download can get cought up. Typical load times now in rocket league and war thunder have gone from around 20 secs to 3 to 5 secs. Now i get into matches before everyone and im waiting on them. Shipping wise, it came in ontime and in perfect condition. The seller, Store4Memory, is very friendly and wants you to have the best experience. They contacted me just to make sure that everything is working and that it meats my expectations. I will definitely be doing business with them again when i need more NVMe drives. If you have PCIE 4.0 then this is worth the money for the 1TB version with the heatsink. My specs: MSI X570 motherboard AMD Ryzen 3600 AMD RX 5700XT 1 of these rocket drives 2x Sata SSDs 2x HDDs Seagate 850W psu

> 3 dayI picked the 2TB w/ Heatsink version of the drive and its very fast (paired w/ a x570 so getting full speed on it). Using it as the main boot drive w/ some games installed on it. So far its been a lot faster than the old SATA SSD it replaced. One thing to note: the 2TB has chips on front and back, so I opted for the extra heatsink (vs using the MB sink that just covers the 1 side). It was only a few bucks more, so figured why not. However if you plan on using the included heatsink is it takes up a bit more room (little bit on width, quite a bit to the height). For point of reference... in my motherboard, from top-down, it goes.. M2, pcie (primary video card), empty (overhang for vid), M2, pcie, m2+pcie (dual), pcie. For this setup, it only fits with the included heatsink the top-most slot (just barely enough room between CPU clamp and Video Card). In the 2nd M2 slot, it is slightly under the video card so the larger heatsink cant be used. In the 3rd M2 Slot, it hits slightly on the pcie retention bracket just above it (might work w/ careful positioning). Note the MB heatsinks are not a bulky and dont have this issue (but they only address 1 side). The heatsink itself gets surprisingly warm, almost hot... so it is transferring heat. Since the heatsink is so relatively cheap, I recommend getting it just in case you can use it.

> 3 dayIm extremely happy with my purchase of the SABRENT 2TB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSD. Its a beast of a drive that delivers blazing-fast performance and plenty of storage space for all my games and files. It was easy to install on my motherboard that supports PCIe 4.0, and it came with a free cloning software that helped me transfer my data from my old drive. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD has an impressive sequential read speed of up to 5,000 MBps and a sequential write speed of up to 4,400 MBps, which is much faster than any SATA or PCIe 3.0 SSD Ive ever used. It also has a high endurance rating of up to 3,600 TBW, which means it will last me for years without any degradation or failure. The drive looks sleek and stylish with its black PCB and gold sticker, and it comes with a 5-year warranty if you register it online within 90 days of purchase. I also like that it supports NVMe 1.3 protocol, SMART and TRIM functions, and firmware updates. The SABRENT Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 SSD is hands down the best SSD Ive ever owned, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their PC or laptop with a fast, reliable, and high-capacity drive.

> 3 dayThe drive seems to be running well having had it installed a couple days. Unfortunately, it is unclear how well supported this device is as it is necessary to register via Sabrents website. However, the website will not recognize the account I create despite me having seemingly successfully created the account. I wanted to contact Sabrent to get help. BUT you cant without a registered account. I tried to create another account using a different email address. Same problem. You have to doubt the sincerity of a company which wont let you register your account and requires an account to even contact them! Is the warranty for real? UPDATE: so I have worked out that although they ask for username and email to be entered as part of the registration process, unintuitive KT the user name you give must be identical to your email (!). With that it’s possible to register and get the warranty. Sabrent should correct this and provide a help contact email messaging contact. The drive itself is delivering the expected performance and has not disappointed. Accordingly, I am revising my rating from 2-stars to 4-stars (I will revise to 5-star if Sabrent amend their website and improve their customer service)

> 3 dayThis is the 3rd or 4th Sabrent Rocket NVMe Ive purchased (varying from 512GB - 2TB). Performance is stellar and I cant tell the difference compared to other NVMe (WD Black, Samsung 960/970/980) brands Ive used. From copying files to loading up games, it never skips a beat.

Greater than one weekThis SSD performs quite well on my in house build PC - which has two Gen4 PCIe M.2 ports. I am getting full 7000 MB/s reads. After years of transfer rates around 300 to 600 MB/s, this SSD is absolutely stunning. Absolutely zooming along in LightRoom.
