Cloned my Lenovo Yoga 256gb drive to 1TB. Used the Acronis cloning software. Took about 8 minutes using a USB C port. No hassle and very fast. This is a PCI 4 device and the Yoga is a 3 computer. Can use it if I need to use in a new machine.

I bought this to replace my Samsung 860 EVO 500GB sata ssd because I needed more than 500GB and since I have PCI-E 4.0, I figured Id use it. Now, the price tag for this drive might look expensive, keep in mind that this is PCI-E 4.0 ready, has 1TB of storage space, AND it is an M.2 drive. So, youll be getting PCI-E 4.0 speeds, plenty of storage, and the convenience of M.2 (no SATA cables creating unnecessary clutter). I didnt have any issues with this drive right after cloning it (comes with the Acronis software for cloning) and installation was extremely simple for me. Not only was installing this drive to my motherboard really simple but using Acronis to clone was a very user-friendly experience. No matter how amazing this drive is, there are some slight nitpicks that I am going to mention. First off, finding the exact Acronis page to download the software required to clone (if you plan to clone anyways) was the most problem I had with my overall experience getting this drive operational. Second is that if you are planning to buy the SSD with the heatsink combo, then please follow the instructions. It will save you some time and some headaches in getting everything attached. I was confused when I was trying to get this installed onto my motherboard but quickly realized that I had to take off the standoff that is on the motherboard and position it onto the correct hole. Someone mentioned in a review that they took off the tiny foam block (assuming you have the foam block on your motherboard) and installed it. Please do not remove that foam and see if you have the standoff. Once I positioned the standoff correctly, everything else installed easily. When putting the heatsink together, the bottom plate has a lip at the screw hole. This is to help people line up the drive and top portion of the heatsink so that everything fits snug and correctly (the manual shows this). Great SSD and heatsink for the price but please read the small manual for the heatsink. Youll save time and prevent some headaches along the way.

This SSD has been an excellent piece of new custom built PC (Dec.2020) The performance is remarkable, of course just about most NVMe SSDs would be amazing, when coming from an old custom built PC (Sept.2012) After 3 months of use, the benchmark shows that this SSD rocks! Make sure youre using a motherboard with PCI Express 4.0 capability. I would recommend this SSD to anyone who wants amazing performance, and that they can afford it. Its newer technology, and the price is reasonable for it. I use this drive as my main OS drive (of course, lol) The boot time for Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is very fast, in just under 30 seconds! Ive listed my system specs below. - AMD Ryzen 9 3950X 16 Core CPU - 128 GB Gskill DDR4 3200 RAM - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master Motherboard - Sabrent 2 TB NVMe PCI 4.0 SSD (boot drive) - No point in listing other disk drives - Gigabyte Radeon 5700XT GPU (Was very hard to find) - Be Quiet Case (Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2) - Be Quiet 1200W PSU

I heard a lot about this NVMe before I got it. It definitely did not disappoint. I now have 5 of them in total. 3 in one PC and 2 in another. Its very fast, the temps are good. And the price is awesome. Ever since I got my First Sabrent NVMe drive, Ive been recommending them ever since. There are a couple faster drives but you really arent gonna notice a difference so why pay more? I already load everything and write files crazy fast. I am forever a Sabrent fan now.

This was part of a water-cooled monster. It got so cold inside the case around the water block that water condensed and dripped on my expensive NVMe. Live and Learn.

The drive seems to be running well having had it installed a couple days. Unfortunately, it is unclear how well supported this device is as it is necessary to register via Sabrents website. However, the website will not recognize the account I create despite me having seemingly successfully created the account. I wanted to contact Sabrent to get help. BUT you cant without a registered account. I tried to create another account using a different email address. Same problem. You have to doubt the sincerity of a company which wont let you register your account and requires an account to even contact them! Is the warranty for real? UPDATE: so I have worked out that although they ask for username and email to be entered as part of the registration process, unintuitive KT the user name you give must be identical to your email (!). With that it’s possible to register and get the warranty. Sabrent should correct this and provide a help contact email messaging contact. The drive itself is delivering the expected performance and has not disappointed. Accordingly, I am revising my rating from 2-stars to 4-stars (I will revise to 5-star if Sabrent amend their website and improve their customer service)

Drive failed within 45 days like the headline says. BSOD occurred with an uncorrectable error before booting to it again thinking it was a driver error only to happen again with a process1 initialization error. That caused the drive to not be discoverable through bios or file explorer. Tried to use chkdsk only to not start and other software to try to recover any corruption that may be on the software side. Nothing worked and the only test that worked was where it detected over 50k bad sectors before the drive crashed the test and disappears from detection again. Reached out to Sabrent for support, will report back once I hear back from them. Edit: Got ahold of support and with some hiccups on that, they RMA’d the failed drive and sent a replacement once they received the drive. Took about a total of 3-4 weeks to finally get the new drive.

Ive only had this SSD for a couple of weeks but I can already tell the difference on how fast it is. Games load very quickly and the storage of 2TB is perfect for me. Ive already downloaded a bunch of games and still have plenty of space that makes me feel comfortable for other things like video collections and editing files. Im pretty sure Ive read theres not much difference between gen 3 and gen 4 but opted for this one anyway. Very happy with this purchase.

My drive worked great, and then failed around the one year mark of me having it. Sabrent customer service was easy to talk to and helpful, but they dont offer cross-ship. I had to send my defective drive back to them (they paid for the shipping), wait for them to inspect it, and then wait for a new drive to get to me. But it was indeed a brand-new drive, not a refurbished one, so Im pleased.
