SAM Rolled Splint 36, Orange/Blue

I havent used this yet (knock on wood). It is part of my first aid kit I keep in my car/motorcycle when traveling. Based on how Ive seen it used/demonstrated in the past, this should work as expected.

My husband loves Sam splint products and long ago put together a first aid kit when our daughter did competitive sports. It came in handy when I broke my wrist and he wasnt home. I was able to use this to splint myself while waiting for a friend to take me to the urgent care. We purchased more for our family members in case they ever need one.

Excellent to have in your BOB bag, emergency kit, search and rescue, first responder etc. Came shrink wrapped and ready to pack

As described. No FA Kit is complete without it.

While I have yet to use one seriously, practice with the SAM splint has shown it to be a nice upgrade to a FAK. Good directions, easy to manipulate, rigid enough when properly used, compact, and comfortable. I carry one with me while backpacking or back country skiing, and feel its worthwhile.
