Love it its fast

Replaced aging spinning rust with something from this decade. Lenovo desktop, i5 with 8gb ram feels like a new machine. SSDs should be standard for any computer now. Be sure to find a compatible mount with your particular desktop though, manufacturers love to have proprietary mounting systems.

Perfect fit and reads well

I bought the Samsung SSD to replace the still-functionning hard drive from my old 2011 laptop with the hope of speeding it up and I have not been disappointed. What a difference. It feels as if I upgraded the processor from an I5 to an I7. Im looking forward to many more years of service from that laptop.

Original Panasonic M.2 and Panasonic replacement failed and faulted respectively. Samsung 870 EVO has worked reliably and exceedingly fast (boot to desktop in less than 30 sec.) for the past 10 months.

bought it because i thought samsung would be the best.i found out it is slow and samsung wants a lot of money to buy an addition to speed it up.i am very upset about this.no more samsung for me.

Before I bought it I had a HDD, this was a very good upgrade, it improved a lot my setup specially the start of the PC, no more bottle neck for me :)
