> 3 dayMy laptop formerly had an HDD and was suffering from the 100% disk usage problem. I tried everything I read about with no success . The problem was getting worse so replacing the HDD with this SSD was the next step and I’m soooo glad I did . I thought the Samsung Magician software had the cloning software but it’s actually a separate download called data migration software. You also will likely need a USB to SATA cable . The cloning took about an hour. Removing the old drive and installing the new drive took at the most 5-7 minutes. I started it up and bam .... problems resolved and my laptop is running like a new one. Overall it’s an easy process , just watch a few videos if you’re unsure .

02-04-2025A client needed an SSD for an older laptop, this works great for that! I wish I could have saved some money and got a different 1TB SATA drive like the MX500 but otherwise its great and its a really reliable drive!
