Greater than one weekWow! What a difference this made going from my mid 2012 MacBook Pro with 500gb hard drive. Booting up takes about 3 sec whereas either the old hard drive it took at least 30 seconds. This runs the MacBook faster and way more smooth. I can honestly say well worth the price to revive an aging MacBook Pto.

> 3 dayI wanted to expand the size of my OS drive for a double boot. The Samsung 870 Evo has twice the memory as my native hard drive. So far, Im very impressed. I remember the old days when hard drives were actually disks in a metal case. The Samsung 870 Evo is much smaller and lighter than a cellphone. Since its solid state, it has no moving parts, no motor that could fail, no head to crash into the disk. Those old disks, which I use for external backup now, are heavy enough to be weapons for self-defense.
