Upgraded my older PC and laptop. PC was fairly simple, laptop took a little patience but both are up and running and basically brand new when it comes to speed. Boot up in no time after a clean install of Windows and browsing the web with no lag time. As long as your laptop or PC arent too old, these are a great upgrade without breaking the bank.

This drive worked fine for the first month or so of life and then it started failing. I didnt realize at first it was a hard drive related issue as I was playing an early access game from Steam that started having issues loading, and then running slowly.

Required contacting Samsung and outside help to integrate with computer which others agreed. Very fast when problems solved.

3rd product type unusable in 3 separate computers. Supply chain issues? These used to be the go to update....

I purchased the 870 EVO 2TB to replace a 6+-year-old 850 EVO 2TB that was beginning to wear out. As of March 25, 2023 the 870 has been in use for 31-days and began reporting SMART errors at the 25-day mark, with the error counts continuing daily. Samsung Magician diagnostics is reporting LBA failure which tells me this is one of the lemons others have reported.

Easily installed and immediately recognized by the Win10. Not enough time using same to comment on long term life.
