Original Panasonic M.2 and Panasonic replacement failed and faulted respectively. Samsung 870 EVO has worked reliably and exceedingly fast (boot to desktop in less than 30 sec.) for the past 10 months.

I only trust Samsung SSD drives, if I had a higher budget Id look at data center drives but for day to day home personal use Ill stick with Samsung.

If you need an SSD for backups, program files, or anything occasionally used, then any SSD will do. But if its for the operating system (Windows C:) then you need one to last with a large TBW value. Samsung is the best. An ever larger TBW comes from getting a larger SSD than you need or getting the Pro version. This EVO is good enough for most average users.

Must use Samsung Data Migration software to clone! I tried with Aomei, kept failing. Used Samsungs software and it worked like a charm! Its free so get and Samsung magician for monitoring and drive dashboard. This drive has a 0% failure rate both in the field testing and lab!

Looks nice but cant install it because it didnt come with hardware. Make sure you get hardware and SATA cables separately.

Easy to install and working well for me.

Idk if its user error or product error or something else, but i have had to repair my os several times while owning this Ssd, Everything runs fine with stable Os, but will crash every now and again

Third Samsung SDD that I have purchased primarily due to ease of data migration. SDD is 1000x faster than my older HDD and I didnt have to reinstall any of my apps, they all work perfectly as before.
