In about 8 years of 10+ hours a day of use on multiple computers, Ive had zero failures. SSDs cost more per gigabyte, but they are dramatically faster and more reliable than hard disk drives - and Samsung seems to be the best in making them. When it is time for another drive, Ill be buying another Samsung.

The disk is standard size, so the installation is not a problem. Samsung provides software to monitor and copy the original disk data, so everything goes fast and easy. Very good product.

Fast. Cloning software worked like a charm. Tricky to mount but that was more the fault of the Corsair bracket (hard to screw in). Great replacement for old HDD

I bought this drive to use as extended storage for my XBOX Series S (Yes I paid scalpers a lot of money for it.. dont ask). It works great I put it in this thing---> (UGREEN 2.5 Hard Drive Enclosure) and it is wonderful. I mean I can store games on it and movies and more games and even more movies... Sometimes I even store music on it. Its fast and powerful not level 9000 powerful but its close. Buy it you wont regret it Samsung makes great products...except my Galaxy Buds (RIP) You will be missed... Man I really miss my homies...

Solid SSD, great performance, great price. I order these not only for all my business end user computer needs, and my personal computer needs. Ill always recommend samsung to clients. Support when needed is top notch, 100% would recommend.

My laptop works smoother so far and will save me money couple of years from needing to upgrade to a newer lapop.

I would take a picture, but Im currently writing on the laptop that it is installed in. I cannot stress how important of a purchase this was. I always had a standard hard drive, and Ive always complained about speed. This thing is so fast, but I do recommend a fresh install if possible. My laptop took probably a good minute to 1.5 minutes to boot prior to replacing with this SSD. After replacement its about 10-15 seconds and its ready to go. Super buy which I recommend. The storage space is great as Im always loading movies, photos, and programs. It really helped my older laptop gain a few more years.

The SMART status shows old age and prefail statuses for this drive after just one year of light use.
