This ssd is very fast. I installed it on a 2013 iMac it feels like a mew computer now super fast and super reliable too. I would recommend it.

It was fairly easy to install.

This solid state drive was very easy to install. Several good YouTube videeos for instruction as well as good tech info on Samsung website. My 7 y/o HP laptop would take 3-4 minutes to boiot up and the fan ran all the time. Now I can boot in about 15 secs and no fan. Great product.

I put this into my all-in-one HP to replace the old mechanical one. I also picked up a cable to clone my old drive. I dual boot Windows and Linux, so I was prepared for some level of headache.

Migrated from an older HDD to this SSD in a matter of minutes. Once I downloaded the Data Migration software from SAMSUNG and connected the new drive it took about 7 minutes to migrate all of my data. I then installed the new SSD and it boots in a flash and shutdown in a flash. Gave new life to my 6 yr old Dell Latitude laptop!

My laptop from 2018 was crawling, even with a brand new windows install. I swapped out the HDD for the 870 Evo its now better than new. The laptop boots up in a few seconds and overall runs so much better. I would absolutely recommend anyone with a HDD to swap it out right away.

Plug and play, worth the money and I recommend it if you need an ssd

What an amazing difference to an old laptop. 10X the speed and double the storage. I cloned the installed drive and just swapped the drives. The laptop started much faster with no further adjustments. I strongly recommend.
