> 24 hourIve had several problems with the hard drive. After some of my data disappearing and several other problems I hope we have everything is fixed now. I had to go to a IT person to resolve my problems. I have several other four other Samsung SS drives and they work perfect.

> 24 hourGot 2 of these drives. First one went into an older laptop, Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM. Did not want to clone operating system, the Acer version of windows 10 had limits. Did my research and got prepped with a windows media creation usb drive for a clean intall. Popped out the old toshiba hd and popped in the 870 evo. (not to worry about 10mm vs 7mm, the toshiba HD is 7mm and has rubber shock absorption pads to fit the sata port, just install them on new drive) Inserted usb drive, turned on laptop, followed instructions. Helps if you already have a Microsoft account. Very straightforward.

> 24 hourI use them for offline storage. I recently got four 2TB drives. I use them with UASP USB adapters, a derivative of SCSI. Plug in the cable, connect to the computer and youre done! Fast and simple. The drive chassis is made of ESD safe plastic, so I dont even use a case. This is the only kind of drive I buy these days, even for internal laptop & desktop drives.

> 24 hourI had problem cloning this SSD using Samsung Magician. The software would not work! The software stated that my Samsung SSD cannot be verified? Tech was not helpful about this, he suggested to use different cloning software. I used Free Macrium software but it would not boot. What I noticed was that this software partitioned the 1TB into 2 separate partitions and cloned to each partition? I dont know why? It would not boot. I could not format the disk to re-clone. So I returned it.

> 24 hourCouldnt imagine that the first problem i would get with my PC is the lastest SSD i would have bought ! After 1 year and a half, hes dead and made me wondering what was going on with my PC. Not going to buy another samsung SSD or even NVME i guess ... when i think its rated 5 star :/ Meh
