Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

The package arrived in good condition, excellent performance for gaming and multitasking.

I installed this Samsung 500 GB SSD in a 4 1/2 year old Lenovo H50-55 PC whose hard drive died. I used a Sabrent 2.5 to 3.5 bay bracket to mount the SSD, easily installed into the Lenovo, made a copy of Windows 10 using their tool onto a 16 GB USB drive, and used that to do a clean install of Windows onto the SSD. Windows read my product key from the BIOS, no fuss, no muss. Entire process (excluding making the USB boot drive, which took ~20 minutes) took about 30 minutes. Computer startup is now around 7 seconds!

Works as advertised. Very fast, things load with the quickness now. I would give it 5 stars but the 500MB is not technically true. They based it off of a 1000MB scale, when it should be 1024MB. Actual size is like 480ish GB. I kinda expected this from Samsung which is why I bought anyways BUT at the sweet prime price.

I should have upgraded years ago, but the capacity kept getting higher and the prices lower. The drive is what it is, and does what it is supposed to do. What really impresses me is Samsungs Magician software utility. It enables tuning, monitoring, and maintenance all while looking like a well refined piece of software.

The best drive (turned my ThinkPad with a 500gv momentus hybrid ssdh hard drive from 2012 faster that many of.the other computer i see new. It boots so with in 12 seconds and by the time input in the pin all the apps are loaded and icons loaded on the task bar. My photoshop loads so fast I have yet to see anther laptop load like this. I have the W520 with I7 and Quaddro video thats whats I was waiting for a economical hiend SSD

Samsung mid-tier drive. New in box and as advertised. Good transfer read and write speeds. I always buy Samsung. first time buyer from their amazon store. will be buying from them again.

Its a Samsung SSD, so you know it works great already. Just get it. I got one for my wife since her pos mid 2012 Macbook was slowing down. I installed it and did a fresh install of OS X and it boots in 10 seconds now and you can use programs as soon as you hit login.
