Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

Upgraded the hard disk (spinning drive) in my HP laptop to this SSD and (other than the nightmare of installing it) and am *SO* impressed with the speed increase I cant believe it. Also, running the laptop on batteries increased about 25% as this SSD uses a lot less power.

I had a older one SSD five years old still works but I needed a 500gb.I notice on the games I play it seems to look and feel different.Sound sounds better to.Maybe it just me.Samsung SSDs are great and would buy another one.

IMPORTANT: Before you buy this, make sure it’s compatible with your computer. Do your research. I’d recommend using the Crucial Scanner to find out what your computer will take, but do be careful and ensure that before buying.

I upgraded my dual 1TB hard drives (in a RAID 1 configuration) to a single Samsung 2TB SSD in my Lenovo P50 laptop.

My old Seagate hard drive was 9 years old and as such was going to go at anytime. I was dreading the data transfer part of this process (if it worked at all) and a big part of me selecting a Samsung SSD was the good reviews the transfer program had. True to the reviews, the transfer went off without any issues. Pulled the old drive, replaced with this new SSD, and bing-ba-da-boom it booted up just fine. Blazing fast boot up now too.

Just put one in an old Mid 2010 Mac Mini along with a max out ram upgrade. Completely turned the machine around. No where near the speeds of a newer model, but works great for this little Dual Core and a large step above the stock 5400 hard drive.

Easy to install and made noticeable decrease in boot time
