> 3 dayDecent headphones. I’d say this is like the stepping stone into good quality headphones and is good enough many could say it is endgame. Unless you are shopping in the $1000+ range, I doubt you will find much better.

> 3 dayThey sound very good and very clear at least with vocals and string instruments. The bass is not overwhelming, but punchy. They are quite comfortable. However, they feel like a cheap plastic toy and despite phenominal imaging in video games they sound veiled if not muffled in many areas within video games and certain songs. They have quite the drop off in treble and dont react very well to EQ. They are a great first pair of headphones as an introduction to audiophile headphones but I found them to be too congested for an open back pair of headphones and the build felt too cheap as well considering these things go between $400-$500 dollars. I likely had a faulty pair though so dont take everything I said as fact it was just my experience. I decided to return these and get the beyerdynamic 1990t Pro headphones instead. I found them to more of my taste, wider sound stage and just as good imaging. Much better treble as well and they still have good base. Overall though most people will enjoy the 660s.

Greater than one weekReceived these as a purchase through my savings conservatorship since Im disabled. Had some extra money laying around and decided to pickup a pair of HD660S. Am probably going to sell my Ananda, Sundara and SR225x after doing comparisons this afternoon. I was using my Grado for symphonic music because it really can attain full driver excursion and give you that punch when the orchestra strikes all at the same time loudly. 660s cant do that fully the same as the Grados but get at least half the way there. Adittionally the grados had a harshness and ring in the high treble when listening to older symphonic and opera recordings because of the nature of the recording technology at the time. The 660s seem to eliminate this hiss on older symphonic recordings which is a good listening comfort plus. I was using the Anandas for mostly pop and jazz and while they have a better brilliance and resolution compared to the 660s I would say the sennheisers are about 80 percent there compared to the Ananda especially in detail and focus. And the final reason Im probably selling the others is that the 660s can do relatively good metal, rock and electric guitar music where the Anandas for this genre just sounded bad (too quick of a release of notes, harsh highs, unfavorable tonality). The 660s seem to be a jack of all trades and Im really super happy I got these. Everything Ive thrown at them is overwhelmingly positive. If you have just one headphone to own I would highly consider these.

> 3 dayPofessional looking and well made, but HD 560S sounds better, imo. Returned right away for HD 560S.

> 3 dayNot the most comfortable (came from Beyerdynamic), but comfortable enough. The soundstage presence on these are excellent which makes it worth the price. For some it may be too neutral , but its something I prefer.

> 3 dayBest headset Ive owned. I do have a pair of DT770s and while theyre good but not as good as these. Now obviously theres some prices differences there but it is what it is. These headphones without an EQ are still good, but if you can get a good EQ going then they can hit a whole nother level.

> 3 dayI bought refurbished 660s headphones. When they first arrived the 1/4 headphones cord was fault so only one ear was work. I messaged them on Sunday and they responded immediately and after a couple of messaged they resolved the problem to more then my satisfaction. Now with the new cord I have been enjoying there unbelievable sound quality! I highly recommend these headphones and and I cant say enough about their customer service!

14-06-2025Once you purchase a quality product like these 650s... Youll realize the extra noise other headphone companies are trying to put into your ear.. These are not and in no way are they advertised as noise canceling.
