> 3 dayProduct came out like some one used it (picture) and than put it back in the box. For 300+ headphones, you would expect better quality. I think these might be fakes. I havent tried them out yet. DO NOT BUY THESE FROM HERE

> 3 dayTheses things are absolutely amazing I have never enjoyed the quality of a headset as much as I have these. If there is a mouse farting in another room in a game you can hear it and tell the direction immediately. That said they are so strong I often do not raise my volume above 25% anymore, and I have significant hearing loss so that is saying something!

> 3 dayAfter scouring reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy these. When they arrived at my home I couldnt wait to try them. I slapped them on and plug them in and got ready for what I expected to be a thrilling experience. Boy was I disappointed, but please read on. They seemed garbled (for lack of a more technical adjective) in the mid-range. I was devastated. I started to gather all of the packaging material in preparation for the return. Before sealing them back up I decided to give them another chance. I was running off of my home receiver so I figured the problem had to be the headphones, but then I got to thinking. I was running on some version of pro-logic, I cant remember exactly which one. I decided to change to stereo for kicks. What a difference! All of the crappy noise in the midrange disappeared. I got to enjoy them as I am sure how the are intended. I found the sound to be well balanced across all frequencies although Im no audiophile so please keep this in mind. The voices were clear and it had plenty of bass for my taste. The treble was not harsh and almost a bit subdued. They are comfortable and seem to be well made. Packaging was well done. My only complaint is they are a little tight (I have a pretty big head), but I think I can adjust them by bending the band. Im soo glad I discovered the sound conditioning issue. These headphones did great once I figured that out. At this point I can recommend them without hesitation.

> 3 daybest sub 1000 dollar headphones that require an amp/dac. These shine with a tube amp. If you want to hear things better for <1000 this is it. For any type of music. Even rap. Just make sure you get a good amp and dac to pair it with.

02-04-2025I personally use these for gaming, mixing, and just plain listening to music. I personally can’t stand hearing my voice with closed back headphones, so these make gaming much less distracting for me. Obviously these are expensive if you’re just gaming, but if you also care about audio quality then these are the ones for you.

> 3 dayFirst came with loud rattling out of left speaker, second came with the same rattling, though lesser in the right ear. For the first hour before the rattling kicked in, they sounded good, but I dont think its $425 dollar good. Id expect headphones like these to have better quality control, but after two times, Id rather not try a third.

> 3 dayThese are moderately expensive headphone, but they live up to Sennheisers reputation and their price. The level of detail revealed by these is terrific. They display the Sennheiser balanced and transparent sound beautifully, not getting in the way of the music. They are comfortable for long listening sessions and thats lucky, as I felt like I wanted to listen to all my favorite albums all over again. I have used them played through a Musical Fidelity DAC and headphone amp and from a Pono player. The Pono player sound incredibly detailed, but when you go to the dedicated headphone amp you realize that portable players may not quite have the punch needed for things like massed choral works on these headphones. Its only by comparison that you get that though as they sound great.

31-03-2025Im no audiophile but have several sets of headphones. I just never really thought I was getting everything I was looking for. Ive read the reviews of others and all the techy stuff (actually I love the techy stuff) but, really, just never really felt fulfilled. even with my HD600s and a good DAC amp, Even with the 600s and a dual monoblock headphone amp setup! These, with a Fiio Q5 are on my head right now and Ive finally got what I want. One one of the techy reviews said: favors pleasing sound over absolute accurate reproduction - OK by me. These are 150 ohm so can be driven by just about anything but a good DAC/Amp really makes em sing. I truly believe I dont have to spend any more money on headphones.

Dude
Greater than one weekYou can listen with your smartfone, yes, but clean audio properly amplified into these phones will deliver. And youll notice things in your music that had not yet been revealed to you, even though you were using quality equipment before. The bass is very accurate, everything else is just fabulous. The name, it is Sennheiser!! ❤️❤️❤️
