SENNHEISER HD 660 S - HiRes Audiophile Open Back Headphone

Great headphones a little pricey for what you get.

If you visit forums or subreddits where people compare these with the other two cans in this range you’ll see endless blathering. For all intent and purposes these are not expensive. They’re not audiophile headphones. To me, you don’t have the right to talk about sound stages or presence until you spend $1500 minimally… And you can tell the difference between them and headphones like these. Ive had Audeze LCDX and HiFiman audiophile cans for some time.

Creo que son muy buenos audífonos, pasé de unos Bose SoundLink a estos para empezar mi camino en producción musical y me ayudan mucho más a detectar las frecuencias

Me gustaron mucho, los uso con un ifi zen dac v2 y hacer una pareja perfecta. Espero me duren muchisimo tiempo. Altamente recomendados.

spatial awareness , can sense where direction of sound is coming from. nice, clear mids, bass isnt too heavy but good enough for me. sound separation and clearer if you really pay attention to it.

Excellent sound overall

these cans really open up after breaking them in for multiple listening sessions, but you really need a proper amplifier to give the headphones color and vibrancy in your mix/sessions. the phones sound like a dream, as all my favorite tunes give me a whole new perspective thru how warm and smooth lossless quality melodic bass music can reproduce in the cans.

They’re worth it.

Great value for your money. Really good sound quality and flat response great for mixing. A little tight for my big head at first, but after a week or two they fit perfectly.
