Greater than one weekDont get me wrong these are great headphones, and I will be keeping them, but are definitely overpriced.

> 3 daythese are the best sounding headphones ive heard by far, only down side is that bass response is a tiny bit too low compared to what ive expected. and other then the bass response, i find them a bit less comfortable then the ath50x i have (the 50xs have a 3d party ear pads) but i think i can personally get used to the different feeling on my head.

> 3 dayPicked this up with a JDS Element. Sounds amazing! Got this as a next headphone and Im blown away. Box it came in was REALLY cool, presentation was amazing! The headphone itself isnt the best build, doesnt scream quality, theres some plastic; not even good plastic I might add, pieces that make it look like a cheap Made in China can. Its comfortable dont get me wrong ofc, its also a bonus that its light, and I use it for gaming mostly and music/ gen use. The foam isnt the softest, the velour is VERY soft, but the foam is kinda like eh, so if you have a large head (and these clamping force is very tight out of the box) it might hurt over time. I wore these 9-12 straight, not a problem like the others might; ears hurting, band digging into your head, etc. The cable is good but not great, comes with 3.5 to 6.35 adapter (for mobile, yes these get powered off my S9 very well), an extra 4.4mm balanced pentaconn cable (first time I saw that) and a 6.35mm cable already in the headphones. For me Im not a huge fan of having the cables be VERY long (most people wouldnt mind, can be pro/con for anyone), this is mostly a desk use headphone unless you wanna walk around with them on thats fine, I can, but they shouldve made it 1.2m to 1.5m long. So now I have to get a replacement cause Im forced to take all the extra cable and put it on my desk, if not is stays down and drags all that weight with it, forcing them down making them heavy. So... In conclusion GREAT sound, decent quality, and all-around amazing headphone. Would recommend to friends and family.

> 3 dayDefinitely a huge difference between open back and closed back headphones. I like that I can finally determine where the sound of footsteps are coming from, however, there are sounds where its lower than usual compared to my closed back. I have both Sennheiser brand. The closed back is 598c and the open back is 660s. I love both, the 598c gives me more of a boost of sound where you dont need to have bass added on, whereas, the 660s, its the kind of headset where you hear a crisp balance of treble and bass. I think my hearing may also have gotten worse since using the closed back and having to get used to hearing my own voice now compared to where I cant even hear sound outside the closed back is going to be a challenge lol. Overall, this headset is lightweight, the ear cuffs are softer and fits better on my ears. Definitely worth your money!

> 3 dayThese are so good. Im not an audiophile. Coming from a pair Audio Technica m50xs Ive been using for 6+ years, those are great headphones but these are on a whole different level. Really great headphones and super comfortable.

> 3 dayBurned in for 1 week. Using this product for 2.1 music listening. These headphones are a little and I mean a little veiled and sibulent. You can hear every bit of music that is a a available on sound tracks being played. Not bassy headphones but they do have bass and are very impressive with the mod that i corporated. The mid range and highs are now superb. With a sound stage forward, rear and side to side. Using an AUNE X7S with a NAD DAC 2 Wireless and Dell laptop running tidal at 24/96. I have heard more music then ever before in my library. The 660s pull you in. Some times I turn my head to make sure its not an outside noise. They do have a good clamp on your head but it can be lessend by pulling the phone extender out all the way and bending the metal slider. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BEND OUTWARDS TOO FAR or HARD AS THEY MAY BREAK. One hand on the phone bracket and other on the metal piece that comes out of the head band and use your thumbs to apply pressure on the bend in the metal band. Still debating whether I sell my 600s As the sound is a little more rich. Will update when finished testing and final choice. Waiting Dekoni hybrids ear pads as the defaults are a little hard for my liking. I have not heard planar mgnetics or eletrostatics but the 660s make me want to put them on and relax when Im home from work and rock out when feeling up. They are an excellent all round headphone and play all genres of music. Do your research. Good luck and remember everyone hears differently. Find your sound?. Oh the metal screen did pop out of the plastic molding when I tried to take the back off. Make sure you poke the plastic through the small holes on the driver side and not the metal, if you want to take the back plate off.
