> 3 dayThe middle bendy part breaks easily. Replaced by customer service and breaks again. It can handle being used. We just duck taped it and use it without bending anymore.

> 3 daySo far good vacuum, but very unhappy that it’s missing the Anti-Allergen Brush, which is specifically listed in the item description.

> 3 dayWe bought this vacuum to replace a eufy HomeVac Duo 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum with the intent for using it in a similar manner - to handle quick vacuum jobs around the house - primarily on hardwood. To our surprise the Shark not only performs very well on the hardwood, as expected, but is powerful enough to handle our carpets, which are rather thick and challenging. Even the LED light on the front is a nice added touch and helped us see and pick up more dust and dirt. The Shark is simple overall - with a sleek design that is minimal, which makes storing it very easy - we are easily able to store this between our washer and dryer in our bathroom, nice and tucked away, but very accessible in a moments notice. Check out the first picture - the motor comes off and hooks to the bottom of the stick/vacuum head to self balance and makes for compact storage. We have a small dog and 2 women in our house - so removing hair from vacuum cleaner heads has become something we are used to having to do every couple months. I was amazed the Shark has NO HAIR tangled in the vacuum head after 40 minutes of vacuuming, which would normally result in a tangled hair mess with the eufy. See the 2nd picture - this shows you what the vacuum head looks like after 40 minutes of vacuuming - not one hair! The attachments that come with the Shark are very convenient and easy to snap on and off - making it easy to reach tight spaces, vacuum couches, etc. In addition the ability to attach the vacuum head directly to the motor allows us to vacuum the stairs with ease. The vacuum head is the perfect width for the stairs and it made a once tedious and annoying job easy. The 3rd picture shows the 2 setting the Shark has; one for bare floors and then ramped up power and a spinning vacuum head for carpet. You cannot go wrong for the price - especially if you find yourself dealing with a vacuum hair always snarled in hair. You will be impressed by the power, ease of use, and overall convenience of the Shark. The only thing you may be wanting bit more of it battery life - as you find yourself getting carried away with the ease of use. Happy vacuuming!

> 3 dayBetter than expected. Converting to hand held was very easy. Lighter than i thought it would be. The power surge was great. When using the entire system, it was so maneuverable, the swivel head was amazing, going around things, I never knew this would make vacuuming so much easier.. And the way it can bend and extend and get under tables. Really nice. My main reason for buying this model was because of my hair. I have long hair that would tangle my old Shark cordless to the point I just got disgusted. Every time i vacuumed I would have to cut away my hair from the rollers at least a few times. I gave up. I did this for 5 years. Never again. This machine worked great, for me anyway. Once i did have a slight tangle, One small snip, gone. Nothin is perfect. All during my vacuuming I kept turning the base over to look to see if it was still rolling and it was! I was amazed! I thought, oh it must be tangled and clogged, it cant be working. But it was. This is a great review from someone who has hair past the middle of their back. The dog hair in my house just fills up the container quickly, it is my hair that caused the problems. I love the way it folds in half to store. Very easy to clean . A little overwheling at first with all the buttons to press to detach and open things, just leave the stcky notes on for a while. Overall, a good purchase.

Greater than one weekOk, first the good. This vacuum is very good at what it does. Its great at getting up pet hair and normal messes. The suction is better than on the previous cordless and the cup is larger. Thats always a bonus. The cup detaches completely, so you can clean it with no fear of getting water in the motor. Now, the not so good. Its loud. Someone was using it and I thought someone was weedeating. Second, on the previous model, you could press a lever with your foot to use it without the head, for small places. This one you have to stop, pick up the vacuum and press a button to release the head. If you have a lot of vacuuming, you dont want to take the extra time to do this. In this case, the old model was better. Third, the new model folds up like the old model, which I like. Unfortunately, the new model no longer has a handle to carry it by. I miss this as I move around a lot, going from room to room. Fourth, the price has gone up on these considerably. I always liked that these were very affordable, and I told a lot of people to try these instead of the more expensive brands. These are quickly becoming one of the expensive brands. I hope Shark goes back to being the reasonably priced brand that the low to average income families can afford.

Greater than one weekThe, Shark Vertex Ultra Lightweight Cordless Stick Vacuum is not a replacement for my Shark Vertex with the cord. The Vertex with the cord will do a much better job than the cordless. For me, its more about getting the stairs as well as hard to reach places. Above my head and underneath the bed. Overall, I happy with this purchase. Have a nice day.

> 3 dayOne of the best purchases I ever made! Wasn’t sure I needed the feature where the handle flattens out so you can go under things easily or the LED lights but I love both! I love the way the vacuum head is much smaller than a traditional vacuum because between that and being able to easily lay the handle flat you can get under just about anything! No more dust under the kitchen chairs. I can get all the way to the wall. No more broom and dustpan for sweeping the kitchen floor every night! The one thing I wondered about is how well does it edge? It does a great job! Love the roller brush. No more spitting things out. It also picks up larger pieces of things easily. My old vac I would have to stop and use the hose because my old vac just pushed it around. This one picks it right up. I did decide to get an extra battery just in case I ever need it. I vacuum my 1,500 square feet apartment and have never run out of battery. I really haven’t seen a negative yet. In my opinion. The extra features really are worth spending the extra money. I am so pleased with my purchase!

> 3 dayAfter you get used to pushing the correct buttons (one to release the handle, one to release the filter basket, and others), the added features are great! Maybe label the buttons? The headlamp is bright. Having an extra battery is convenient, the adjustable arm for sweeping beneath furniture saves my back. I would prefer more power on the hard floor setting level 3 (like you get when the carpet setting 3). The adjustable vac settings allow me to vac floor rugs without sucking them up into the vac. The rollers could be a little easier to remove, but the instructions helped a lot. I replaced my Electrolux stick vac and I’m happy with all of the extra features as soon as I’m more proficient pressing the correct button.

Greater than one weekWe have a Dyson wireless vacuum that I absolutely love. It’s maybe the second or third iteration of the portable vacuum so it’s an older model. When we bought it Dyson was the only company that made this style vacuum so I decided to splurge and buy it! I decided to give Shark a try now that this style is mainstream because this got good reviews and is a lot cheaper. Dyson has much better suction and just does a better job at picking everything up in one pass. However, the Shark is much more consistent. Our Dyson attachment would always clog or break and stop running in mins of use and there was always some work that would need to be done to get it back up and running. I don’t have this issue with the Shark vacuum. There’s also some handy features - I like that the main tube bends to get under couches. I also like the lights on the main attachment. The overall runtime is better than my older Dyson but maybe new iterations are better at this. I only got about 20-30 mins and now I get about an hour. I will update if anything major changes my opinion but overall, a nice vacuum. Not as powerful as Dyson but there are other factors that make this a worthwhile choice.
