Smart Zone Games Hive Pocket

I love game pieces that are sturdy and artistic. That makes the game so much more enjoyable. Love that this one came with two extra pieces and a carrying bag. A great game and a much better price then if I purchased it locally.

Fun game, I love the quick play. I also like the strategy and creativity. I’m glad the expansion pieces were included. I wish pillbug was also included. The tiles feel substantial and not cheap even though they are the smaller travel size. They are nicely rounded as though they are old pieces of stone. The stamp of insects in each tile is complete and fully colored. I like the travel bag and compact nature of this game. It will be easy to bring along.

Bought this as an anniversary gift for sister and her husband. Figured it’d be nice for them during lockdown, could be taken on their travels, and would meet minimalistic criteria to satisfy a sister who doesn’t want any “stuff”. In this regard, it’s lightweight and takes up very little space if you get rid of box and just keep small pouch to hold pieces. The pocket version also comes with 2 of 3 expansion pieces to extend the life of the game. Seller was accommodating to a request and shipped quickly. I was unsure whether to buy the full size or the pocket size, and decided to get the pocket size based on comments from a reviewer. The pocket pieces are plenty big (1 inch in diameter) and are of great quality and beautifully decorated. The game is fun to play too. The pocket edition has the ladybug and mosquito expansions included, which is great, because purchasing the expansions separately is expensive. My husband and I have played the game a few times without the ladybugs and mosquitos as recommended, and I can’t wait to start using the expansions.

Interesting, easy to learn, no set-up time, the pocket size is perfect, our favorite quick strategy game.

This was a fun purchase and my wife and I love to whip it out when were out and about. Looks simple, but it is a really good strategy game.

We love our regular sized Hive game and wanted a backpack version ( ok its a bit heavy but one of the kids can carry it lol) its the same great quality and will last years, such a great little game and easy to learn. well worth it

I really like the game, but most people I play with do not enjoy it. My five year old likes it a lot, but I cant seem to get an adult to play a strategic game with me.

Fun game, pretty easy to teach once you learn the rules. Comes with 2/3 of the expansion peices. It will fit in a large pocket, but its better off in a bag or tied to something.
