This was purchased as a family game night game addition to our already large collection of family games. We have kids who love strategy games like risk, stratego, axis and allies, chess, dominion...large variety. This game is unique in that it is intriguing and attractive in its simplicity. Very few pieces. Lots of strategy and planning.Very engaging and enjoyable by players of many ages and abilities.Both my technology loving boys give it thumbs up. A real winner!

Zero set-up, doesn’t take long, not as intimidating as chess for new players, and just such a delight. My favorite game! I’ve also played the full-size version which is great on a table and has nice pieces. But you take the pocket version camping/ on a plane.

My son (almost 9) and I like to play games. This is one that gets a lot of play. Its strategic enough to be suspenseful, its different every time, and its helped lay the ground work for a deeper understanding of chess for the kid.

I really like how simple this game is but at the same time how many strategies are possible. I also like that this can be played nearly any place.
