Smart Zone Games Hive Pocket

> 3 dayWhen I saw this was a pocket version I assumed I would have little tiny pieces and I was wrong. These pieces are a comfortably large size and still small enough to play on an end table. Playing this game with the normal set is almost unwieldy after having the hive pocket experience. It would fit comfortably into your pocket if the rule sheet werent so large.

> 3 dayI bought this for my husband for Christmas after reading several reviews on two player board games. It was easy to learn, the directions recommend how to play as beginners, with more tiles added once you have learned the game. By the third round we had the idea down and as we continued to play we noticed our own strategies evolving made the game feel brand new as our evening went on. I love the portability, a small bag, tiles and any flat surface can be the table- perfect camping game. I love how simple it seems, yet how complex it can be. It resembles Chess, in the way that each piece moves specific to its character, as well as the strategies to capture the Queen. Highly recommend as a two player fun evening of games.

> 3 dayThe quality of the tiles is excellent, it feels and looks great. Instructions are clear and although its complicated, its just a matter of learning the rules. Looking forward to playing more now that the cooler weather is coming (Im in Australia), this game is sure to be a winter weather favourite.

Greater than one weekShort ish, chess-like game with good replay value. The tiles are well-made and feel nice to touch, as does the carrying pouch. I wish the tiles were slightly heavier. I also wish the bag had a simplified version of the rules printed onto the fabric. The included rules booklet, while small enough to go in the pouch, is still rather large and awkward when bagged up with the game pieces.

> 3 dayAmazing game in an amazingly small package. You can slip it in a purse or your back pocket and play it almost anywhere. I highly recommend this two player game that is very easy to learn but difficult to master, while always being fun to play. And quick too.

> 3 dayI bought this game for my husbands birthday and we both love it. I was trying to find a game that was challenging enough for adults but easy to take on trips. This was perfect. It is a strategy game where each bug has a special ability and you move your pieces to capture the queen. We also bought the pill bug expansion pack which I recommend, though sometimes we play without it. The bag is small and great for packing just about anywhere.

> 3 dayThis is a great game, very fun. It arrived right on time and had a competitive price to game stores in my area. Nice quality pieces and everything is as it should be. The game itself is a fairly short, two-player strategy game. Maybe its more tactical. At any rate, you play by maneuvering your insects around the cluster of tiles (made up of more insects) in order to capture your enemies queen. Each critter has its own movement rules, but once you learn those theres a huge diversity of gameplay.
